I've lost a couple pounds....stopped exercising for a week because I just got my wisdom teeth out and I didn't want to screw up the healing process..I was just wondering if the weight i loss was all muscle and if i'll just end up gaining once i start strength training again

My guess is no, it's not muscle loss... You can lose while just following a diet plan because I had to do this when my car was in the shop for 2 weeks and though my weight loss slowed, I still lost without hitting the gym. :-) Hope you are feeling better! Take it easy when you do get back to the gym as it's been a week since you've done any lifting!0

ouch! I feel your pain. If you don't go over your daily calorie goal you could still lose some fat weight.0

You should be okay. I have needed to stop exercising here and there for similar things and it has worked out just fine. Take care of yourself and when your healed up from the wistom teeth be careful to take it slow and listen to your body so as not to overdo too quickly.0

You wont lose muscle in one week hon Its actually good for your muscles if you take a week off every few months. If you train hard all the time, taking a week off allows them to fully heal. You probably lost water weight because your muscles weren't holding water to heal (when you are sore).0
