  • Good idea :)
  • I like the idea as well for a daily checkin. That way I can log food and check in at the same time :)

  • Thanks kayjosh2422 ... we are finally seeing a glimpse of spring here. Most of the snow on my lawn has melted. Today is very cold out but lovely and sunny... I will see about getting out again today. I trust you get some good weather soon.

If you changed a few habits, learned a few things, were able to get into a flow, drank a few more glasses of water than normal - you won. You started a new lifestyle. • I would like that as well tephanies1234 :)
  • I redid the walk from February. It is warmer now and a lot less snow. I did 5.11 Km in 61 minutes :)
  • Congratulations :)
  • Went for a walk this morning intending to do the 5k. Well, no excuses :) ... just facts. The snow was 2 inches deep, the sidewalks were not ploughed but the snow plough had placed the snow that was on the road onto the sidewalks. So i abandoned the route that I had taken the last time. Sought sanctuary in parking lots and…
  • I love walking in the fresh snow when there is no traffic. Like you said it is like you are the only one in the world. Nice and quiet. I do walk a bit at night when there is less traffic. So quiet :) I did get out for a bit, close to 2km and will go out again so I get my 10.5k in. The weather is not that bad out there…
  • The "Onederland" goal is my downfall. I have to get it out of my head. As soon as I see it coming close I freeze up. My mind goes into "you can't make it below that number" and I gain weight. That is part of the reasoning behind not using the scale as my measure of success. The scale scares me into submission that I will…

  • Great going Emi. Today is snow day. We are expecting about 5 inches. So tomorrow will be walk day. That gives the city a day to plough the sidewalks so that I can get out and move it :)
  • Mixing it up did it. I gained a few pounds last week and then just dropped 3.6. My system needed the change. I am trusting to keep this moving. :)
  • Take care of those shin aplints. Make sure you have good shoes and do very low impact if you do anything. Keep safe
  • Welcome and good luck :)

  • It is 5k in one walk/run/treadmill/eliptical etc... on one day. I did the last one and it was fun. Took a look at google maps, created a route and set off. Basically, after you finish you report in on how long it took you. It is not a race against anyone it is a bearing on how the little bits we do each day support us. It…

  • Nice jawline kayjosh You'll get those abs bahbedwire I'm looking forward to walking up the 3 flights of stairs to the 2nd floor and still having my breath. A few weeks should do it :)
  • This is great information for me. Thank you for sharing, both of you. I was wondering how to do all of this and now I can finally take it in and use it. I have had my HR for a couple of weeks now and attempting to find my way around the device, app and websites. Holding the button is what I need to do. I was carrying my…
  • I let the wagon loose for about 36 hours. I am trusting that jolted the plateau and did not do to much damage. Anything to get the scale moving.
