I am probably an anomaly, losing weight on a road trip. Not to worry dear friends, I gained back the weight I lost. Weighed in at 115# last week and 116# this week. These are both within range. I went out for a big, juicy cheeseburger and fries, then salad for dinner. Just waiting for the darn snow to melt so I can get…

@kgirlhart I feel your pain, lol. I was wondering how you liked the Garmin. Now we know. In my nonprofessional opinion, you are doing very well. You have not dropped below normal weight, you can pretty much eat what you want and the weather is perfect for running! (Can you tell I am a bit jealous regarding the running?) I…

Ladies (and gents), I love reading through this thread. Everyone is doing so well. No reason to panic or get crazy. Balance is the key. Lose a pound this week, gain 1/2 next. Do you feel good? Do your clothes still fit? Eat a little less or more depending on the scale. We have all lost what we need to lose, and know what…

Nothing wrong with gravy. Cheese is good, too!

Can't help with the last 10# - that is all up to you and your logging/determination. As to toning, check out jessicasmithtv on youtube. She has lots of strength/toning videos from 6 minutes to a lot longer. I love to run, but the weather this winter has put the kibosh on that. Elliptical, snow shoeing, and indoor…

@Nudgey02 It looks like the chocolate has not done too much damage. Sometimes you just need to cut loose.

@kalchthaleri NO! I hated being fat!!! Sometimes I wake up and don't want to exercise and just be "normal", then I remember how much being fat was uncomfortable, hurt and I couldn't do anything I wanted so I go for a run or hop onto the elliptical or plug in an exercise video and chase away the blues. I am here if you need…

As you all know, I don't do the weekly "tree". I did start the month at 116# ,then went down to 115# for a couple of weeks. So, I went to visit my kids/grands for Christmas and, oops, lost 2 pounds. Weighed in this morning at 113#. That puts me 5# underweight. I didn't eat much on the road - 2 days @ 9 hours. Really only…

@fidangul Thank you for putting up with us this past year. You have done a great job at keeping in your maintenance range. I hope you will keep this "group" going in 2018. Although I do not do the monthly and weekly "trees", I started out the year averaging 114#, moved up to 116/117#, went back down to 116# and have…

Great feedback everyone. Thanks! It is nice to know I am (we are) not alone in this.

Wow, I see a lot of us are staying at or below our target maintenance weight! Keep up the great work, ladies. I think something to keep in mind is weighing in underweight. I am guilty of this. I know it is hard to find that happy balance in maintenance. We are all afraid to re-gain that damn weight, however being…

Thanks @CoachJen71 Great ideas.

I, too, have been here all year. Thanks @fidangul for keeping it going and putting up with us! Going to visit my grandkids for Christmas. Long drive so probably won't be exercising. Any thoughts/suggestions for travel? Will be going by car. Thought of asking my husband to stop at various rest stops so I can run a mile…

@AnnPT77 You go my friend! Excellent rowing. And yes, the more I exercise, the hungrier I get. And @UncleMac and @jofjltncb6 Wow and row on! @UncleMac great pic!

@kgirlhart At 119# and your height, you are still within normal range. I understand that by continuing to lose, you might feel a bit panicked. I sure did. Don't worry. It will all level out and you will find your "me" weight. It took me quite a while, but I finally got where I am comfortable and stay within the same couple…

If you are losing... try yogurt, or a handful of nuts, fruit, maybe a small serving of low fat ice cream. If you are on maintenance...all the above or peanut M&Ms, cheese and fruit, peanut butter toast. Actually any of these will work either way. Good luck and enjoy!
-
Thanks, hun, hope all is well!

@MoTownSweat and others...I'm with @kgirlhart I, too continued losing for over a year. Gaining can be scary, continuing losing is scary as well. Adjust your activity and eating (CICO) every once in a while to meet your needs. As @lorrpb mentioned, give yourself some wiggle room. I try to stay within a 4# range and have…

@fidangul No worries. Sometimes the scale is not our friend. If your clothes fit better, hurray! A victory. Maybe we all should take a step back and consider the NSVs. @kristen8000 Fire that silly nutritionist! You seem to know what you are doing and are doing it well! Keep up the good work and congrats. I am averaging…

Why is it OK to make skinny jokes, but not fat jokes? "I bet you have to run around in the shower to get wet"
-
The only person who knows I count calories is my husband. I lost 70ish pounds and have kept them off for a couple of years. I do not actually count the calories "out loud" any more. I learned how to keep an eye on CICO over time. Nothing like a good run to keep everything in line  Oh, yeah, I am compulsive...so what
-
@fidangul You are doing well. It is ok to give in to the cravings once in a while. Keep stepping!
-
I always run on my own. Also do other workouts on my own. I suppose if someone wanted to get a softball team together, I would be interested.
-
@CoachJen71 What if you take off your fitness tracker for a few days? Yes, I would probably want to hurt someone if I did, but. Trust yourself to eat/exercise in a way that works for you. It is, obviously, easier said than done. I will if you will. Let me know... What used to be your stress reliever (besides food)? Can you…

Wow! So about all I do in retirement is run when I feel like it.

Holy cow @Just_Ceci is that you on that rock? Brave woman! Cool pictures

@dingylingo and @Rachelmilloy It WILL become automatic and more effortless as you move along! It may be as soon as a few months. In my case, it was June this year after hitting maintenance and actually finding what worked for me. I called maintenance a few times - May 2015, Sept 2015, Jan 2016 - I started in Oct 2014 and…

Woo hoo; yay indeed!!!

@lorrpb I know how you feel. I would be lost without my fit bit. My husband says "Welcome to the Borg."
