2450, but I break it up to under-2k on weekdays, and somewhere around 3k on Saturday-Sunday.

I'd like to be able to wear good looking/fitting clothing that they just don't make for large people. I'd also like to be able to take my shirt off at the pool, or beach, and not feel utterly self-conscious.

Yep, most definitely. Every single day. But, now that I'm like 18 months into this thing, I look back at it, and think that it really took no time at all. It really does seem like I just started a few weeks ago.

I've been turning a corner on olives recently, but I still absolutely cannot stand anything with caraway flavor. Ugh. Rye bread, italian sausages (which sucks because I love the rest of the sausage apart from the stupid caraway seeds), Kimmelweck buns (which also sucks because I'm a Buffalonian, and was raised with Beef on…

I agree with the walking. Walk all the time. Walk on break. Walk on lunch. Walk to places within a mile of your residence.

Blasphemy.

A lot of these people likely get rent subsidies of some sort, or outright own their own houses, so they don't have to pay rent. They probably get some sort of utility subsidies also, so their bills are largely decreased. Apart from that, they really don't go out to do anything, so they don't really spend any money on…

That's DOCTOR Hyman to you...

So, you're saying that you have knowingly been spreading misinformation which has no basis for belief? Interesting.

The only way you're going to put on weight is if you ingest more calories than you burn. If that shake causes you go to over your calories, then you'll gain weight. You will not automatically gain muscle though. In order to gain muscle, you have to be in a calorie surplus AND lift heavy.

How do you like them? I just bought a pair of Hoka One One's also. I know they say you shouldn't have to break running shoes in, but the first 25 miles I put into them were sort of painful/tight after they felt so good at the shop. I actually had to start wearing two pairs of socks because they were digging in across my…

If I'm feeling a protein shake, I'll generally go with Casein as it makes you feel fuller longer. If I have the calories allotment to do so, I'll mix it with milk, and peanut butter. Usually though, it's just straight water into the powder, shake, consume.

@lorrpb Sorry that it took a while to get back to you. I haven't been on MFP forums in a couple of days. I structured it around a few things I've read about HIIT where it should be something on the order of a few short bursts of 60% effort, then a few bursts of 70% effort, then a few of 80% effort, and finish with a few of…

Go absolutely HAM in the gym in the morning. :)

5lbs/week might be standard for someone who is like 400lbs, but it is WAY too aggressive for an active person at a healthy weight. Eat more than 1200 cals, keep up the same amount of activity, and lose it more slowly so that you don't feel the need to gorge yourself to feel sated.

Yep, I'd go with the body dysmorphia angle, and we all definitely have it to some extent. Personally, I was down 80lbs before I put some back on (which I've almost taken all back off), and I really can't see the difference when I look in the mirror. My clothes fit differently, I'm down three shirt sizes as well as 8 pants…

I motivate myself with the knowledge of how crappy I'll feel about myself tomorrow morning if I don't go tonight.

I highly doubt that would be "healthy" as you'd still likely be severely lacking in essential nutrients, but you most certainly could lose weight.

Pizza is about as perfect as a food as has ever been made from a macros standpoint. It hits the three major categories (pair with alcohol to hit the 4th. lol) pretty hard for a reasonable calorie amount. Most regular size slices w/ pepperoni (1/8th of a large) are somewhere in the vicinity of 300 - 350 calories. So, if you…

Every time you say the word "can't," replace it with the word "won't." See if that changes your perspective.

I do HIIT on the elliptical, and it has worked wonders is helping my running along.
