I'm in the same boat. I'm pregnant with my first and my doc told me that because of my weight I should gain between zero and 15 lbs

Take a deep breath, you're going to be fine! The fact that you are aware of your weight issue and that you want to do something about it for the health of your baby is a big first step! A lot of women fall into a "screw it I'm pregnant pass the nachos" mind set. That being said, I'm in a similar boat. I'm 16 weeks and…

I had terrible blisters with any kind of socks i tried until I impulse bought some at a race that had 2 layers made in them. I think they work by rubbing against themselves rather than your feet. try to google something like that, it worked really well for me.

Great job girl! I love the progress in those photos!
-
BRaye, you're the best!
-
yep! I'm down 79lbs eating about 80/20 healthy food and food i actually like. Just watch how much you're eating and move your body.
-
nice job! the NSV's that are real changes in how we live our lives are so much more important than a number on a scale.
-
way to go! 88lbs is an awesome accomplishment! I don't know how tall you are, but 120 seems really really small to me, but then again I'm 5'11" and 235, so maybe it's not that small for you. anyway, great job!

no meat and low carb is kind of hard. I'd suggest maybe a veggie stir fry without the rice, some veggie fajitas maybe with black beans for protein, or a vegetarian chili. good luck!
-
they may even be able to do a seafood fajita if you ask the server.
-
yep, veggie fajitas are the way to go. and if you can skip the tortillas you'll be golden!

I just did the same thing for my wedding in june. You already know all of the bla bla you should do this/that instead stuff. So i'll tell you what worked for me. 1) i made a countdown to the wedding board and put it on the fridge 2) i drank SO MUCH WATER. (i'm talking a gallon a day) 3) cut out bread, pasta, rice, and…

i lve this video, i hope that you find it as inspiring as I do. It doesn't have to be yoga, any positive change that you make and stick to can change your life! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX9FSZJu448

just log what you eat and stay under your calorie goal and you'll be golden! weight loss is 80% diet anyway. Maybe later after you've gotten some weight off, you can start doing light weights for arm exercises. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns just by being alive. Good luck my friend, you can…

thanks!! I figured that it can't stay that fast, but even 2lbs a week would be great for me :) I'm down 77lbs from my heaviest and I'm hoping to get to the 100 pound mark by the end of the year.

i lost 5lbs on my first week of OMAD!

I've been doing this for a week and I really like it! I've always been a type of person who doesn't get hungry if I don't eat breakfast. I've found that If I skip lunch too, then I don't really start to get good and hungry until like 5 or 6. Then I can eat an actual meal and be satisfied, compared to the sad tiny meals I…

Your doctor was probably just trying to set a more attainable goal for you so you don't get discouraged with how far you have to go. I understand the idea. If he/she set you up with a dietitian they seem to be supporting your progress and that's good. that being said, you can probably get to the 150's eventually depending…

get rid of em! I sent everything above a size 16 to goodwill and when I inevitably fell off the bandwagon I noticed because my jeans started to cut into me. If I kept my old clothes I would have just grabbed another pair. This way my wardrobe physically keeps me in check. I'm back at it because I REFUSE to buy another pair…
