    Welcome to MFP.
Good news, you can track your intake, lose weight, and get better control with diet alone. It just takes careful tracking. Do you have a food scale?

    Hello and welcome !
My advice would be to get yourself a food scale right away . learn how to weigh all your foods and log them here accurately. Being as accurate as possible helps a lot ! Also, don't be scared to ask for help here, if you have a question about anything just start a thread . there's many long time users here that will be glad to help !
Best of luck to you !!
Also check out the group section and see if there's any groups for wheelchair users . that way you can find people who are in similar situations and can guide you along ! :)

just log what you eat and stay under your calorie goal and you'll be golden! weight loss is 80% diet anyway. Maybe later after you've gotten some weight off, you can start doing light weights for arm exercises. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns just by being alive. Good luck my friend, you can TOTALLY do this!!
