  • Just popped by to have a read because I'm always curious myself as to what my "goal weight" is, I've never actually had a number in mind... All of the comments seem helpful, but I found myself wanting to comment just to say well done, you're doing brilliantly and those photos are fab, you really do look great! x
  • It 100% isn't pizza but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not tasty! Topping things with tomato, meat/veg and cheese is always going to make something good. I'm sure the OP already KNOWS it's not "real pizza". And if you've come on here to just post "no" or "not pizza" then ROUND OF APPLAUSE. Some people are on here to…
  • Pour hydrochloric acid on loads of things and watch what happens. And you have this crap on the inside of your body.
  • https://www.hairybikersdietclub.com/recipes-tips/recipes/all-in-one-spicy-pork-and-rice/ This is one of my favourite recipes, so tasty! I usually just use a wok because it's big enough to put everything in and simmer for 20 mins. Good luck x
  • You could try eating quorn if you don't eat a lot of meat, it's high protein and low sat. fat. But then again I don't know how you feel about meat substitutes. Good luck :) Ps. mmmm, eggs.
  • Sorry, I literally couldn't be bothered reading this whole thread (which is a pet hate of mine, hence the apology), and I also apologise if anybody has already said this... If diet sodas make you more hungry so you then eat more, it's not the soda which is impeding weight loss, it's your own self control/overeating. Diet…
  • Europe is big on calorie labels, we do have food labelling regulations here too you know. We're not on the moon. What ISN'T big on calorie labels is takeouts/independent restaurants like the one you bought your turkish pizza from. I find it hard estimating most things I eat while I'm out and about because it's impossible…
  • Things like "wafer thin" ham and stuff is always super low. I know it's like 90% water but still makes a great sandwich topping!
  • Be prepared for lots of people on the forums telling you that you don't need to follow a 5:2 diet, as long as you look at CICO each day you'll lose weight with a deficit etc etc. Which I, myself believe too, so I'm not slating that or their opinion. However EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT and just because you're utilising mfp in a…
  • EGGY BREAD. Enough said! :p
  • I'm skipping the eggs and just having bacon and cheese on burgers for dinner, am I allowed to tell myself that I'm doing a good job too?
  • Eggs, especially the whites. Boiled, scrambled, poached... I love omelettes too, and if you add cheese it brings the protein up some more.
  • This thread has turned ridiculous. If you want to argue over McDonalds or whether or not your have willpower to resist eating all the fries or whether you think food with a high fat/salt whatever content is "bad" then create your own thread. Stop using someone's post who was just looking for a "well done" or "go you!",…
  • Nobody here blamed mcdonalds. People on this thread are fully admitting their OWN flaws and problems when it comes to saying "no" to certain foods. Just because you find it easy to fit a mcdonalds into your day doesn't mean everyone else will also find it easy. I'm actually one of those people who can have a small meal at…
  • Sweet potatoes are to sweet for me, I really don't like it... same goes for parsnips. Carrots are just about as sweet as I go vegetable wise. Yes, yes I do :p
  • Yeah I'm from liverpool and have a few UK friends on my list!
  • Sometimes I use a pitta bread, a tablespoon of pizza sauce and grate low fat cheese on top if I really can't spare the cals for a real pizza. But mostly I just incorporate real pizza into my daily goal. You need to have some willpower to have a couple of slices instead of a whole/half pizza! That way you don't miss out x
  • Okay I just had a look at your diary, you use a lot of generalised foods on here like "homemade so-and-so" which probably aren't very accurate. You should steer clear of using these because anyone can post food on here and make up the cals which are in it. You could be using a lot of oil in food which would bring the cals…
  • Kilos or pounds? If you really do eat as little as you say, and you're "not consuming as many calories as you should be" then scientifically you will lose weight. Somewhere along the line you must be underestimating the amount of cals you consume. Also, if you're allergic to nuts, you shouldn't be eating nuts. Weigh your…
  • I try stick to 1200, if you want to add me as a friend my diary will become viewable and might help you out a little :)
  • Hi everyone, I'm from Liverpool, always good to have UK friends! x
  • Pregnant women's bodies store more fat in order to produce breast milk, however this fat does not come out of thin air, you're right, it comes from the calories you eat. If you don't overeat when pregnant, you can not magically gain weight. Don't blame being pregnant for being overweight.
  • She posted her diary and proved it. I make ham and cheese sandiwches all the time < 600 cal...
  • Also if you're full you could get your cals up easily using fluids, by drinking a glass of full fat milk or fruit juice or something :)
  • The nuts idea is great, they're not too filling and high in cals. You could also change the bread in your sandwiches or switch to wraps, they're quite high cal. If you want to add me as a friend I have an open diary and I stick to around 1200 a day at the minute. I like to think my meals are not too filling so maybe you…
  • If you really are hitting 2000 cals then this is totally fine, IM fasting is brilliant and works! I assumed you would be having small, low cal meals so I apologise for that. The only thing that doesn't add up (unless you're eating a really huge portion) is how lean meat, veg and rice would equal 2000 cals. Good luck at…
  • How many cals would you say are in your average dinner? Yes, you will obviously lose weight, but it sounds pretty unhealthy to me, as well as impossible to keep up in the long run. Someone else in your family may win the biggest loser competition by sticking to one meal a day, but if you do this properly, by using a safe…
  • Some of these comments are getting really harsh, like someone's already said "deal with it" you don't have to add your slightly meaner variation of "deal with it" on top. OP, I would suggest having some low cal snacks at your desk for when you get hungry/can smell other people's food, although this breaks your 'eating only…
  • Hey everyone, there's a thread similar to this if you do a search so you guys can find more friends on there too! Btw I'm 23 & not too sure how much I want to lose, another 10lbs would put me at my LW though :) feel free to add if you have similar goals!
