Oh my goodness I could have that exact same post. Well maybe not as motivated but its day 1 of getting back to exercising. I didnt meet my 100 lbs lost goal either and have let poor hsbits come back in. Thank you for your inspiration this morning. We can do this! It's a new year!!

So my doctor gave me the green light, a dose or 2 is okay as long as I take it with my PPI (lol, Now that I know what that is). I'm really hoping it does the trick.
-
Thanks everyone. I am trying my best to not take Motrin but don't know how long I can go. I'll contact my doctor as well since I am only 5 months post op. BTW what is a PPI?

Sounds yummy. I'll have to give it a try too. Thanks!

Congratulations!! I can feel your excitement thru your post. B)

So this week I cut out my refined sugar, cut back on my carb intake and yay I saw the scale move 4lbs in 3 days. This motivated me to start moving as well. It wasn't easy but I am the battle over my mind is just as hard as the weight loss battle. I went to the pre op classes, I took in the information but in the back of my…

All great advice. Thank you so much.

I drank crystal light & diet Snapple, for my soft foods, it was Greek Yogurt, SF jello, SF applesauce, SF pudding, cottage cheese and my favorite Trader Joes Organic creamy tomato soup, that was my "treat" that kept me sane and moving it along. Good Luck!

At 2 months I was down 39lbs, I'm approaching my 4 months soon and am at 46lbs. Personal goal lose 120lbs total but charts say I should lose 150 total.
-
The 46 pounds is post op and I will be happy at 100 lb. loss total but realistically I should be hoping for 120 lb loss. Dr. told me I need 80-90 gm. protein a day which I meet about 5 days a week, I find on the weekends I'm not so diligent. I'm not drinking my calories but have had too many refined sugars and I do use…

Mine hasn't changed one bit and I'm 4 months post op.

I've been back to work almost a month now and the first 2 weeks I was so tired!! I don't walk as much as you do but I am in retail so it's especially a hectic time right now. The first 2 weeks were hell. I would barely make it home and be knocked out with in a hour or so. It gets better thank goodness, I pretty much feel…

I'm understanding that no 2 are alike. I figured since I started at 300 I would lose faster. Congratulations on your loss!

This week I promised myself that I wouldn't weigh myself daily (I did this even pre op). I only broke my promise once which is better than I thought I would do. I was excited I'm a size down in tops and pants and that is the new me. Life has always been about the number, I'm winging myself off. Thank you for the…

Thank you and your right. I think it's finally starting to sink in that its just not as fast as a process I hoped it would be. It's okay. I'm losing slowly and losing is what matters.
-
Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the support! You all are right, I need to stop micromanaging and just let the process do its thing.
-
Your probably home now. Hope all went well and good luck!!

I've lost the amount of pizza Americans eat in one year...23 pounds.
