At each milestone like every 25 pounds I lose, I set up rewards on things I do to "treat" myself. My first 25 pounds: I'm getting my hair done, Next 25: mani/pedi, etc. Although I could do that now, I figured if I work for it, I will enjoy these rewards even more

I want to do a photo shoot or "modeling" session. Get my hair & make up done and have photos taken of me feeling healthy and awesome!

I don't think I ever got motivated from people telling me I'm fat. It made me angry and just not want to speak to that person. I get motivated by people recognizing my hard work and complimenting me.

I love dance music for my workouts because I usually go along to the beat when I do cardio. Avicii is my absolute favorite!

When I was a toddler, I had so much fluid built up in my ears I was practically deaf. I communicated by reading lips mostly. I had tubes put in my ears, and with that came a speech impediment. I stuttered and slurred my words together. I had to do speech therapy for awhile. Fast forward to my senior year in high school, I…

I have my FitBit linked to my MFP, and I haven't had problems with double counting. The calories for my steps are adjusted once I put in my work out.

I weigh myself once a week, I take photos of my face once a week, and I take photos of my front and side once a month. Its always helped me keep on track even if I get discouraged or have a moment of weakness.

Yay I think we're friends already! I have about 200 pounds to lose, and I just completed my first week. My starting weight was 374 which is the heaviest I have ever been (and the most miserable I have ever felt) So glad we can be there for each other!

This is my personal opinion, but I hope this helps you. I feel when we get close to our goal, the scale becomes our enemy. The reason for that is muscle is taking over the fat, and the numbers seem to stop moving. I would take progress pictures each month because sometimes the scale won't budge, but you'll see an amazing…

Right now, I like the gym. Mainly because I live in an apartment, and the workout center there is terrible. I love having space and a variety of machines to work out with. Ideally, I would love to have an at home gym basement, but for the meantime, I enjoy my time at the gym.

If you go to Hungry Girl's website, she posted some awesome recipe. There's a pumpkin pie parfait that I am excited to try out!

I used to be a WW lady myself, and it was what worked best. However, I am not a fan on spending money when MFP has the same idea but free!

Thank you ladies! Sara, I accepted your friend request, and ankdworak, I sent you a request. The bigger the support system, the better

I listen to a lot of Dance music because the beat motivates me to push harder. I listen to anything Avicii, Afrojack, Kaskade, Hardwell, Calvin Harris, David Guetta and Chainsmokers. Specific songs that I love are "Ten Feet Tall", "Before I'm Yours" by Cole Plante, "Anchor" by Tritonal, "Alone" by Armin Van Buren, "Let's…
