I'm actually considering dropping out of this after the 1600 page run. Maybe drop in occasionally, but the real action is definitely in the Batcave now. ;)

This is exactly why bridal sizing needs to line up more closely with street sizes. Not that every pair of size 10 jeans is the same size, but at least you know you'd only have to go to an 8 or a 12, depending. Not 2+ sizes up (always up)! I'm in a wedding in April so I can't WAIT to see how that sizing works out. :|

We're on page 1599! Almost to 1600! It feels like it was FOREVER ago when we hit 1500 (compared to previous 100 page markers)!

Yep. I've also seen them prancing around the streets of both Philadelphia and Baltimore, though never NYC. Hmm. ETA: Typing is hard.

That's them, they just have a different top from the standard icing swirl. I may need to track these down. Need being a relative term, of course.
-
No, the Hostess cupcakes with the little icing swirl. They're not as good as I remember, but they're nostalgic now.

Yep. Should have the results back by mid-week next week. Sooner if I start harassing the lab in Lenexa (they have the test with the longest turnaround time). ;) This is literally the 8th time I've participated and I've never had anything serious be wrong, but every year it gets me like suddenly THIS year I'm going to be…

Confession: I purposely scheduled my blood draw for our annual wellness program for this Saturday to trick myself into getting back on track so I don't screw that up for myself. I also have to NOT EAT after 9pm Friday until whenever I'm done Saturday (scheduled for 9:15am). Stupid lipid panel. ETA: I usually have very good…

That happens in the States too. It can be very difficult to find pumpkin in like, May. But canned yams/sweet potato (I'm pretty sure they're ACTUALLY yams but this is an endless debate) is a good sub for baked stuff at least! What? Are you telling me you DON'T need pumpkin muffins in June sometimes?

Wait, like the swirly topped kind? The orange ones were my reason to live at one point* and this I could get behind. *possible exaggeration

You don't have to cut anything out. You just have to get a little creative to work them in. If you spread out the treats, you won't feel the need to binge so hard. Is your weekly goal too aggressive? For someone as tall as you are, 1250 is pretty low. You might want to lower your weekly loss goal so you can eat a little…

Any man who's willing to hang out on a porch and not expect you to get all done up for him is definitely worth a second date. Yay!
-
At least you know it's silly? :)

I love dressing in layers. ;)

You can totally make them with just a spice cake mix and a can of pumpkin! Mix-ins and frosting optional.

Blasphemy! I love fall. I can't wait for jacket weather. ETA: It occurs to me that Canadian fall is probably not what I'd like fall to be. I'll just be over here with my apple cider...

This. I totally let myself indulge in something "bad" but I got it to fit my calories, and still met my protein goal. I'm doing it right!
-
Mine too! I swear we were separated at birth.

It was just a jelly doughnut with (glorious) peanut butter frosting, but it was absolutely what I needed/wanted.
-
Confession: I just ate a peanut butter and jelly doughnut. If possible, I have negative regrets. That was a sound taste bud investment.

I am these people. Embarassingly Amazingly so.

Just an FYI, I will be sort of MIA today because my work laptop needs a bit of tweaking. It IS a wonderful excuse to not really get anything done though. ;) Confession: If there had been cake in my house this morning, it would have been breakfast. And then some.

This is how I eat fish when my other half is grilling something for himself. I just have him toss my packet on the grill for 20 minutes and he's "made me dinner" even though I did all the work. ;)

I know it's expensive upfront, but do you know anyone with a Costco/Sam's Club/BJ's membership where you could stock up on pasta (for the base of a meal), frozen fruits and veggies, and something like waffles for breakfast? They're super quick in the morning and most really aren't bad nutrition wise. Throw a little peanut…

Thank you! I was very excited about the 8 already fitting, since the one review was up TWO sizes from her every day. That means I'm probably closer to a 4 than I realize! Which is a silly thing to focus on, but it made me feel good about all my hard work. :)

I'm on the other end in the lab. Our client service folks are already being prepped for all the additional phone calls they'll (hopefully not) have to make to offices to ensure we have the right codes in order to bill for testing. Though, a lot of that will still end up getting done on the back end because of specimen…

3 weeks (and 2 days) until go-live! ;)

Batcave!

I'm about to post this everywhere because I'm really excited about it, but I BOUGHT MY WEDDING DRESS THIS WEEKEND! 14 months before the wedding. Whatevz. I'm efficient. ;)

I love this. Welcome!
