I try to eat between 1300-1400 calories. I don't track religiously so it prob varies. My TDEE is 1700, I think. I know that diet has a big impact on weight loss. But I was wondering if the gaining inches on butt and thigh was something other people experienced too.

Yes....but in addition to tracking I also added exercise. That gives me more deficit.

The muscles should grow if you are exerting tension on them. They will not grow much faster if you are not eating at calorie surplus. Yes. I try to track most days. I end up tracking good on weekdays and slip on weekends. I am sure my nutrition needs more controlling. I am wondering about the part where I started exercising, tracking and gained pounds and inches.

I like to base my fitness decisions on facts and somewhat proven bases as well. There is just so much information out there even 'scientific' that it is hard to filter. Feel free to add me, I am looking for extra motivation :)
