Meditation has help with the mind cluter of overthinking. I suffer from depression and when you think of ALL THE THINGS I SHOULD BE DOING you most likely end up doing nothing its not a race as long as your moving in the right direction. Be kind to yourself.

First of all big hugs. I'm on antdepressants and I have a lot of time and feel unmotivated too but I have started studing minefullness and meditation. Just be with the feel and they will pass. Things will get better although it dose not feel like it when your in the grips of depression. Scott

I have learn from personal exspearance that when I lose the weight I was the same person. I did get a few compaments but I have people say I was too thin. Its about self compassion for ones self. Changing out of fear only work short term IMHO

I have gone up 3 lbs overnight and the calorise don't count for it all, althought I binge and takeing a couple thousan at a time its to much salt like chips or pizza. I know some people are on water pills but I don't know about all the under lieing condition that acount for water retention.

Hynosis at the very least is very relaxing. I have read its not the most efective on its own but if use inconjunction with other treatments it increase the success rate.

I don't know what started the binge eating but I learn in therapy that after a binge the guilt would make me starve myself and that would set me up to crave food and I would repete the cycle all over again Scott

Hugs, I have moderated depression and anxiety. My motivation comes and goes my depression comes and goes its confusing, a real puzzle for sure. I'm starting meditation and it helps still the mind. I have just started seeing a hormone Dr. mybe that might be worth investigating? Scott
