Okay, thanks guys! I'll continue to trust it :) thanks!

I've recently started using my fitbit flex again and it is really great for motivation. I've found myself taking more walks or pushing myself just a little more to reach my step goal or to surpass someone in a challenge.

Haha I'm not sure anyone sees "TDEE - 20%" and thinks it's actually TDEE - 0.2. It means TDEE - 0.2*TDEE...which, yes, is the same as TDEE*0.8.

90 min workouts 6 days a week is a lot...and only gives you one rest day. There's a chance you'll get burned out if you're not careful...I guess it's doable though. Do you plan on keeping that up after you lose 100 pounds? You may want to think about how transitioning to maintenance will work. Some people gain weight back…

There's not a krispy kreme near me and dunkin's dry donuts made of air just make me sad :( I'll treat myself to ice cream instead :yum:

If it's easy then you're not lifting enough. You may want to get an adjustable set of dumbbells, you'll grow out of them pretty quickly. I went from 15 to 25 on the one armed row just in week 1-4. Also if the abduction is too easy, you can try adding a band :)

I tried 1200 calories in the past, before I really knew what I was doing. The weight definitely fell off, but I gained it right back once I stopped "dieting". That's one of my problems with 1200 calories, it's not even close to what I hope to eat for the rest of my life, so what's the point in doing it now? It puts me in…

I've lost 40 pounds and already have loose skin, others have lost a lot more and not had an issue with it. As everyone says, it's all about genetics! Good luck on the weight loss :)

Oh come on, you've never in your life looked around while you're exercising? When you're resting in between sets, you just stare at the ground? You never look at people to see if they're done with their set yet so you can use their bench? And what is this, you don't think when you exercise? Your mind is completely blank as…

I also agree with the idea that you shouldn't be cutting out all "unhealthy" things. Yeah, I have plenty of fresh fruit and lower calorie things too, but I'm definitely going to eat ice cream tonight...just not the whole pint. And I'll make sure it fits within my calorie allotment. How much were you eating before the…

My stomach is lopsided too! I first noticed when I was taking a bath and only one side was under the water haha. I think it's getting worse as I lose weight... But hopefully I'm wrong :p

Oh definitely cheese. Cheeseburgers, pizza, queso, just pure cheese with some crackers...mmm :yum: I would miss brownies if I gave up chocolate, but that's about it.

I will be within that range in August! I'm 22 right now :)

Recently decided to start using my fitbit again since I've taken up running, feel free to add me! https://www.fitbit.com/user/27XGMR

Did you say you're going to be eating 800-1000 calories a day? That's quite extreme and unhealthy. You should reconsider your goals.
-
Think big picture  Sure, losing thirty pounds may take you 30+ months, but that's less than a year! What's a year in the grand scheme of things?
-
This. Think about what's changed recently to try to figure out what's your trigger for binging. Try to pick up exercise, even if it's just doing a yoga youtube video or walking around the neighborhood, or do something else to get your mind off of food. There's only so much help we can give, you really have to find the…

Hey, feel free to add me, my diary is open :) I'm pretty bad about eating the same things constantly, so I'm hoping to get some inspiration from people too!

I think you should discuss practical ways to turn negative thoughts into positive ones with your therapist. Being completely honest with them about how you see your body will let them help you further. I've never been happy with my body, but consider this - does self-hatred accomplish anything? Will sitting at home because…

Also, just so you know (this probably isn't an issue since you don't do cardio), MFP is set up so that you eat back calories burned by exercise.
-
You advice may be more useful than you think! Now that they know about it, it may stick in their mind and, when they're really ready to accept responsibility and lose weight, they can always come back. That's what happened to me...I've started counting on MFP about four times now, but I wasn't really serious about it. When…

Anyone can feel free to add me! I have an open diary and about 20 pounds to lose

I feel like my ribcage sticks out a weird amount too! But that's probably just because I've been overweight my entire life and don't know what normal bodies look like haha. Are ribs supposed to stick out as much as your boobs when laying down?

Your body is never going to be perfect. It's not going to be the airbrushed and photoshopped creations we always see in magazines and online. You're always going to have stretch marks and jiggle. But this is your body, it's the only one you've got. So your options: 1. don't lost weight. Hate yourself and your body and…

I would suggest against eating below 1200 and working out. 1200 is the absolute minimum for most people, so if you're not even eating that PLUS you're burning calories on top of that, there's no way you're fueling your body properly. I tried to so this before I knew better. As soon as I started eating back some exercise…

I just finished week 5! It really works if you follow it, i always look forward to jogging now. Don't be afraid to go slow :) have fun!

I'm on week 6 of C25k and Strong Curves. I do them both the same day, usually jogging in the morning and weights at night. I tried to do them on alternating days in the beginning, but I'd be so sore after weight training the next day that even walking sounded awful. Of course, the soreness only lasted like a week, but…

Congrats! I too agree that it's easy in theory, but if it were easy in practice, I don't think there'd be that many struggling with it. I'd say that it's as easy as you make it. Like most things in life, it's simply a measure of your determination. Also, like others have said, not knowing what you're doing makes it harder.…

1200 calories is the minimum intake for women so going below that, especially with extra exercise, isn't great. It may balance out if you eat a lot over the weekend though, which is totally fine, just make sure you're getting those nutrients! Also, ugh, TOM always stalls with my weight.

I like prelogging because it allows me to make sure I'll hit my macros for the day
