Current Weight: 167.6 Goal Weight: 160 My November goals are: - drink 2 liters of water daily - drink 2 cups of broth daily - keep net carbs <20 - keep calories under BMR - eat a serving of veggies at lunch and dinner - get 10,000 steps/day (anyone with a Fitbit is free to add…
  • Thankyou evreybody for your responses! The brand is fitmiss and I've read a lot of reviews on their products and decided to go for it. I'll update the post later, hopefully this will help somebody else as well.
  • Hello. I'm 24 and also a food addict. I have gotten a lot better at controlling my food urges but still overeat or binge some nights (1-3 nights a week). Something that helped me, before the holidays hit and something I am trying to get back into, is cutting out sugar. Refined sugar is highly addictive to our brains and is…
  • I add cole slaw mix in my salads. You find it in the produce with the bagged leuttce.
  • Hi there. One thing I love to have (have been having it for lunch A LOT lately is fried cabbage. I fry it in coconut oil and add some polish sausage. Then when I take it off the burner I add in a tablespoon of parmesean cheese and mayo. It's effing delicious.
  • I hate when ppl ask me this because ya know what... It's none of their business. It's invasive. And it's rude. I usually tell people, "I call it the common sense diet; I restrict my calories and exercise 5 days a week." Thy get my sarcasm and drop it.
  • I just got a fitbit for my birthday and I don't really trust it, considering when I looked at it this morning it said I had taken 200 steps before I had even been out of bed.
  • I don't have a food processor but I just use a cheese grater. I grate the entire head at a time. Sometimes I just add mayo, ranch, pepperoni and cheese for a 'salad.' I usually do this because it's quick and easy when I'm running around getting ready for work. Sometimes I fry it in coconut oil. And of course pizza crusts :)
  • Holy hell I just screen-shotted this because that sounds beyond delicious.
  • You might be a keto dieter if Psyllium husk is a twice a week routine.
  • Pintrest has tons of ideas, deff worth checking out. I usually just have bulletproof coffee for breakfast. But I saw an idea where you make egg mcmuffins ahead of time and store them in the fridge till you eat them. You could make these with bacon, ham or sausage and egg. Don't forget the cheese :) Hop online and search…
  • Bulletproof coffee!! Fried sausage and cheesy cauliflower mash.
  • Ranch or mayo. Especially yummy (for some unknown reason) if you make your salad ahead of time and let it sit in the fridge.
  • Hi there. Do you have your macros set? You can customize your own evreything. For example; I set my calories at 1500, carbs 5%, protein 20%, fats 75%. Then MFP will give you a gram limit for each. That helps me a lot, Im constantly checking macros and grams. Search a list of the lowest carb veggies. This is very important…
  • I look at my progress pics. Every so many lbs i take a full frontal nude pic. I have an app on my phone where i can put my pictures side by side. It's hard to stay motivated but once you look at your first pic next to your most recent one, its hard to lose that motivation. Start taking pics now if you havent been. Helps me…
  • I like the bulletproof coffee, it keeps my macros in line. I usually add a half cup of almond milk as well. But i dont drink it days that i eat breakfast, rather i drink it as my breakfast.
  • I suggest looking up your BMR and TDEE. That will give you a 'range' to stay in.
  • Thanks! I just bookmarked your other post with that link. Some of those sound really flipping delicious.
  • Thinly sliced cucumber/zucchini topped with pepperoni, cheese and a dab of mayo :) holy crapness yumm
  • Its just me and my bf. Luckily he is a big 'meat and potatoes' man. Since i started keto we are actually eating dinner together more, and more similar. If its grilled, fried in butter, or smothered in cheese, he's happy. Then i make two separate sides. If you have kids i imagine it would be a lot harder to navigate. Also,…
  • Hi there, new to keto as well. About 9 days in. This is gonna sound so stupid but idk how to add you? The thing i clicked was an 'invite friends' thing. Im still new to using the community part, i just have my phone. Anyway, add me plz?
  • I was upset about gaining a half pound (from yesterday to today) after a week of keto dedication. Then I relised the scale read that way because Im ragging. Females can at least appreciate that feeling.
  • abi111 im aiming for 99g protein. I did some things differently yesterday, including having bulletproof coffee for breakfast and incorporating more veggies. My macros were right on. I didnt realise how quickly my protein was adding up.
  • I would ditch the honey but keep the lemon juice. A Tablespoon of lemon juice has what, like 1.5 g carbs? If you like it, keep it. Perhaps you could plan a super lo-carb day and have your honey in the AM for 1 or 2 days of the week? I kind of get it, I had half a Hershey's bar (10.5 g carbs) for desert last night. It's…
  • Thanks, Ill have to look for that. And thanks for the add, I was wondering where you found me.
  • Thanks, doll :)
  • Hey there how are you getting your electeolytes? Im salting my food like reccomended. I also had a Powerade Zero a couple days, but they kind of scare me with all the artificial sugars in them, even tho theyre 0 carbs. Should i just buy electrolyte supplements?
  • Weightloss is 80% diet, 20% exercise. Do with that information what you will. Also, dont feel like you HAVE to eat back those calories.
  • Hi there. Im 23. Same height Close to 180 (scared to look atm!) Ugw is 134 (that will put me at -100 lbs from my highest weight!) No kids either, in a relationship. I go thru spurts where I use MFP a lot, then not. Having a friend may keep me more accountable.
