Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it! I will work harder at tracking more accurately. I must have some bad habits that are working against me.

I moved to 1800 calories around November from 1500. I weigh in grams. I am about 5'6 and I weigh 165.

My current calorie goal is 1800 and I don't eat my exercise calories. Yes, I weigh in a scale.

In my opinion you should simplify your diet. Change your goal to lose .5 or 1 pounds a week, and plan your treats in the day before and pre-log it. Then build the rest of your day around that. This takes the negative emotions away and you will slowly decide to maybe have less of a treat or eat better during the day....or…

I quickly looked at your diary and I don't think you are eating enough. Try eating more calories even if it is a delicious snack of popcorn.

My starting weight was 234lbs and I personally didn't notice until I had lost 30lbs.

I have been on mfp for a year now and nursing the entire time. You can do it. For the first couple months I actually set my calorie goal to maintain and I would re-evaluate at the end of each month. I gradually lowered my calorie goal as I ensured my milk supply wasn't suffering. My goal now is to lose 5 lbs each month.

Hi! I have been doing this for a year now. Let me know if you have any questions. My best tip is just track no matter what.

Thanks for the suggestions! I decided to have a greek yogurt this morning. I am working hard on upping my protein so I thought it would be a good start.

You can do it! Just remember that losing weight is 80% in the kitchen and 20% in the gym. So go easy on yourself and just track. I have four and my youngest is 13 months. My tip is to track everything and don't worry about if it is the right food or not. You still have a young baby, and weight loss is a marathon not a…

I don't count my breastfeeding calories. I just set a modest goal of losing 1 lbs per week and just watch my supply.

Homeschooler here too!

I am nursing as well and I started out slowlywith just tracking and I lost weight but I watched the scale and when the weight loss started to slow I increased my mfp goal to lose a half pound to now a pound a week.

I love my aria too! I love how it syncs with everything I use. But I am sure any wifi scale would work....I would just research it and make sure the scale works with mfp that will make your life easier. IMO if it doesn't sync with an app it is more work and you could just use a regular scale.

I am of mom of 4 and I know how hard it is. My secret is I log no matter what....even if I am having a bad day and totally go over. As long as I log I don't feel bad.
