I have been on Keto for 2 months now and have lost 32lbs. It was a rough start but I adapted. Yesterday and today I carb loaded and I feel awful. I'm bloated and have no energy. For me it was 4 days. Its working like a charm. the only complaint that I have is that I am BORED out of my mind with the food choices. This is a wonderful plan but be prepared for the bland diet as well. Good luck to you and your sister. <3
