Looking at today's bumper crop of successful, a huge well done and to keep it going I feel must join in. As this time next year you'll wish you started today...
I'm 41, have 3 secondary school aged daughters, a husband, 3 cats and work full time as a nursing sister.
Last Christmas I saw the most horrendous photos of myself at the works Christmas do, I was wearing size 20 trousers and a size 18 top. I felt hideous. Weighing in at 14 stone 7 (203lbs) on new years day.
So time to make a change. Today I'm 9 stone 6 (132lbs) which is 71 lbs lost, wear size 10 trousers and size 8 tops. I run at least 3 x a week, my long run (once a week) is 11 miles. This Christmas do, I had a size small ghost dress and someone commented to a colleague that this time next year I want to look like her.
Added to that, I have boundless energy, have been doing skiing lessons with my daughter's / husband, bridge abseiling, rock climbing, have even booked a skiing holiday.
My photos (I can't do on here sorry, I seem incapable...) are this year's Christmas do and from end of November last year.
So, if I can do it, so can anyone. My motto is a goal without a plan is just a wish and you can't outrun your fork.
Happy New year my fellow mfp'ers.
