Honestly, I usually just throw them in the trash. I've told my MIL many, many times that I don't want or need anything, but she insists on giving me a bunch of useless junk.

What do you normally eat? If you are just starting out, stick to your normal diet and dial back on portion sizes. Too many changes at once may be hard to keep up.

I think I would feel worse later to look back on these years with family and not have any photos. Even though I don't look as I'd like, I always take pics, especially with my kids.

I am a strong introvert as well. I bought a power rack and weight set for my basement for roughly the cost of a one year gym membership. That and the sidewalk are all I need.

I bring a lot of salads to work. I don't cook much, and they are easy to throw together. I just model them after restaurant salads but leaving out some of the more high calorie ingredients.
