I love to walk so try and do a 30 minute walk most days. Twice a week I have started going to an hour class...strenght training and stretching. ...nothing to strenuous. I find it easier to fast when I work and am busy. Most fast days I eat cottage cheese and fruit or veggies for lunch and stir fried veggies with chicken…

Hi! I am still moving along. I haven't been extremely successful lately. I work in an office half a week and from home the other half. I am more successful fasting when I am in the office than when I am home. Anyone have any helpful suggestions for me on days I have to work from home - my work is all computer and phone…

I find tracking with the lose it app on my phone is easier than to track here. With lose it you can scan bar codes on products.

I am a big stress eater and January has been a stress month for me workwise. It is also the month I decided to give the 5:2 program a try. I just want to say thank you to everyone who posts in this group for the great support and motivation. I read your posts every day...and I am happy to say I have met my weight loss goal…

@mamainthekitchen - I'm right there with you...will be a young 58 this year! My mantra this year "better to be over the hill than under it". Focused on getting this weight off so I can have many healthy years over that hill. I'm still trying to figure out how to add people - any pointers?

@flossyruby1 when you use the @ sign and start typing the name.....the app gives you a list of user names to choose from and turns it blue

Awesome news flossyruby1 -size 6 means a lot of hard work and dedication! It is inspiring for new people to the plan like me! Week 2 was challenging for me ...but in the end I did complete 2 fast days and dropped another pound. Week 3 here I come with big plans for you!

Thanks for the encouragement flossyruby1!

First FD of the week done....but I have to say week 2 is proving a little more challenging than week 1. Hard or not...I will succeed. ..2016 is my year to just hunker down and do it! Reading your posts daily are helping me stay on track...thanks!

I am excited to report 2016 is off to a great start...5lbs down and 5lbs closer to onederland....going keep it going!

I make zucchini noodles all the time but just use potato peeler to make them. A julienne peeler for spaghetti style noodles and a regular peeler for broader noodles. I found that zucchini cooks quicker than spaghetti squash -stir fry in less than 5 minutes and it is not as wet as spaghetti squash.

Very happy to have made it through my first-ever fast day with 480 calories yesterday. This just might be the plan I've been looking for forever. Thank you for all the tips you have posted - a number of them helped me through day 1!

No excuses for me not to stay on my food plan this week. Meal prep for my family of 5 is done...with lots of help from my daughter. In 5 hours we have breakfast, lunch and snacks packaged and in the fridge for everyone to grab and go during the workweek and 5 healthy dinners made that just need to be reheated each night. I…
