While not currently doing it (pregnant), I did 5:2 for months. I started in December 2014 at 285lbs and ended at 250lbs by the time I started getting morning sickness in March (confirmed pregnancy in April). That's close to 2-3lbs a week, but I had more to lose than most. It would have slowed down the longer I did it and…

The people who matter in your life won't care about your sagging skin and if they do, then they don't need to be there (just my opinion). If it's going to happen, it will happen. I look at it this way, all actions have a consequence. I let myself get this way and if sagging skin is my consequence, then so be it. At least…

If you like them, eat them. Weigh them and enter in the weight to get an accurate calorie count (cause a medium banana is a vague measurement). Fit them into your calories. No reason to dump foods you like unless you have a medical reason to.

I made Alton Brown's fish tacos. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/fish-taco-recipe.html So good.

Like how everyone (not literally, of course) is Irish on St. Patrick's Day.

So it's like most holidays then...?

You can't control where you lose. Would you rather have larger breasts or have a healthier body? I wish mine would go down (or I could just have them both surgically removed). I seem to lose in the small places first (fingers, ankles, feet, wrists, etc...) and the more noticeable places last (stomach, thighs, hips, etc...).

Take measurements, see how clothing fits, and take pictures. If the scale bothers you, then make a point to use it as little as possible (if at all).
-
If I could afford it, I would have surgery to remove mine altogether. Not only would it take off a pound or two (or more, I don't know how much DDs weigh), but it would give me the body I wish I always had that no amount of exercise or dieting can.

Mine haven't changed yet. I'm hoping they go down quite a bit, that way I don't have to buy as big a chest binder (won't get one till I've lost a good amount of weight, cause then I'd just have to buy another one).

Cheating implies you are doing something 'wrong'. Why cheat yourself? If you want something, have it and fit it into your calorie limit or do some more exercise. Don't cheat.

I'm down almost 30lbs and my clothing still fits the same. What does fit different are my rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc...You won't always lose weight in your waist, hips, and other area most want the weight to come off from. It'll come off from all over the place and you can't really help it from doing that. Just…

Not sure. I've never shaved or paid attention to my body hair before. My friends say that as they get older, they have new hair in random places though, like the snail trail. Most of them are fairly fit. It might be an age or hormone thing. If you shave, wax, or pluck...then you might want to get used to taking care of the…

I'll try that (both of those options). I usually try not to bother him and his wife because they tend to be very busy most of the time. >.< Thanks.

That's part of the problem. I'm not finding anything that doesn't have a *. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I type in "Ground Chuck", cause that's what it is, and all that comes up is *entries. Is there somewhere else on the site I can look for just non *entries or something?

I pre-log the majority of my day the night before, but I always leave off anywhere from 300-500 calories as a little wiggle room if I see something during the day that I want to have a bite of.

I've been doing it for almost 2 months now. I premake my fast day meals the day before. Usually a huge bowl of carrots, celery, cucumbers, 1 square of ginger dark chocolate, 1 oz of pretzels, and a little bit of ranch dip. Sometimes I go a little over 500, but I stay below 600. I eat on that through the day. I find fasting…

It's up to you when and how often you weigh yourself. Just be consistent with it. I weigh myself morning after using the bathroom with the scale in the same spot and wearing the same thing. I like seeing the daily fluctuations and I log my weight everyday. Some people weigh everyday, but only log the losses. Some people…

I'm sure it's been said many times...but meat. All meat. I don't eat much of it because of the price. I try to save up to go to my favourite butcher and get really good cuts. If I have to pay so much for it, I might as well make sure it's quality.

I like having a shot of it after a heavy meal. It seems to help settle my stomach.

I write about my weightloss and what not for my friends and family. I also give them information about the things I'm eating and how I prepare it. I show them pictures that I take on my walks. I share my pounds loss successes. But they have no say in any of it. I don't ask for their advice. I don't want them involved in…

I love pizza. I can sit and eat a whole pizza without even thinking about it. I have a hard time controlling it. Especially if I'm upset or in a mood. My solution has been to make my own substitute pizzas that are smaller. I've tried making my own crust and using the pita breads and naan breads and what not. I've come to…

Sorry for the late replies. I tend to forget that I post stuff sometimes. >.< Thank you both for the welcome. ^^ And yes, sometimes there is nothing better than a good steak. Love steak.

Those are terrible examples of weight loss. Those are horrible situations. Those are not healthy situations. Those peoples bodies are treated terribly and shouldn't not be looked at as a way to lose weight. They were not not eating enough by choice. Staving your body of the fuel it needs is not healthy. Log accurately,…
