Really? They do the opposite for me.

I didn't take it as picking but you got me worried. Not drinking beer? No problem. Not drinking alcohol? I don't think so! ;)

I have to admit that I have no idea how much an ounce is :( - I use 20cl Bombay Blue Sapphire, 150ml Schweppes Tonic & Elderflower Low Calorie and 1 tsp lemon juice and according to MFP that comes down to just over 50 calories. It's a small one but I don't want to get hammered several times a week :P

I switched from beer to gin and light tonic. One glass has 50 calories, perfect after work drink :D

We'll probably end up going somewhere nice, explore a nearby town or something similar. We only just moved here two years ago so there's plenty left to see.

PS: When I really crave something sweet I go for low fat almond milk, frozen banana and low fat vanilla yoghurt :)

I do the same and have a smoothie for breakfast every morning on weekdays. It's easy to prepare and I can take it to the office. I usually aim for 150 to 200 calories per smoothie and that will keep me going until lunch :) I usually go for: 150ml juice (mango and papaya is my favourite!) 50g banana 40g carrot 5g ginger 40g…

I'm 5'6 and 155lbs and find it difficult to stay under 1200 calories. I aim for 1300 calories and eat most of my exercise calories too.

I like the option of having a cheat day, it really helps me stay on track. I struggled with an eating disorder about 6 years ago and whenever I got over my calorie goal I would binge and then punish myself by not eating for at least a day. Now that I am trying to loose weight again I want to be careful not to put too much…

My diary is open to friends - I log daily and find it extremely motivating and inspiring to read other members' diaries.
-
Nope, I just looked it up. I normally log before I eat, apart from dinner. I weigh everything and write it down but if I logged it before I eat it'd be cold ;) I might just get in touch with the company, see what they say.

Thanks a lot! I was a bit worried about the "edible portion" part and 234 cals for duck leg seemed low but I didn't question my luck ;)

Take out - pizza and cheesy jalapenos or curry and shish kebab.... mmmhmmm!

I use do have a beer most days after work. Sometime two. I simply enjoyed sitting in the garden after work, with a nice cold beer. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. My parents drink wine with every dinner or beer with every dinner, just like my grandparents etc. Unfortunately, I gained about 10lbs because of…

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly :) That's good to know I would have walked into the sauna with a towel or less ;)
-
Same here! In 2014 almost I started a new diet every other Monday but never had the motivation and determination to pull through :( I need accountability and motivation so I can make 2015 count.

I'm from Worcestershire and in need of support :)

Same here :) Just added you!

Hot water. I'm such a wussy when it comes to cold showers.

I'm obsessed with learning about North Korea at the moment. I'm reading books and watching documentaries - not just because of "The Interview". Back in 2012 I lived in Hong Kong and seriously considered a trip to North Korea. Never made it because I didn't have the money.

Physically I love my hair and my calves. For some funny reason, no matter how much weight I gain, my calves stay slim.
-
Mine are all related I guess ;) #1 - Loose about 30lbs #2 - Hit the gym at least twice a week #3 - Quit drinking after work (beer = calories) #4 - Quit smoking (I smoke when I drink)

Hiya! I'm 27 from Worcestershire with about 40lbs to loose and lots of muscles to gain ;) Feel free to add me! x

Hi everyone! I'm Anne-Marie, 27 from the UK. I'm currently at 160lbs (or 72.6kg - I'm not good with the imperial system) trying to get to 125-130lbs. I'm super motivated and looking forward to meeting people to support one another :)
