  • I love pork chili verde tacos, I have them every day for lunch and it's pretty dang healthy. We take the pork loin roasts from costco and throw them in the crockpot with green enchilada sauce and a bunch of assorted peppers that we roasted in the oven. It's cheap and so yum. With cojita cheese and two corn tortillas its a…
  • I make egg muffins, they're super cheap and really good for breakfast. Just baked scrambled eggs with some chicken and a little cheese.
  • Woo! I lived there for a year(ish)
  • I'm married to one, does that count?
  • Bike pants help a -ton-, I always wear them when I spin. But I do have them already since I ride a lot
  • We did HelloFresh for a long time and really really enjoyed it. The calories were about 600-1000 calories but you could prepick your meals so you knew what you were getting and the calories. The biggest downside is the cost, it got to the point where my husband and I couldn't justify the cost. For the cost of 4 boxes a…
  • Make really good ice cream? I usually have the opposite problem lol but I make a lot of desserts. You can freeze them http://www.incredibleegg.org/eggcyclopedia/f/freezing-eggs/
  • I love buffalo chicken. My husband and I will get 9-10 lbs of chicken, a bottle of cholula hot sauce and 4 oz of hidden valley ranch powder with about a half cup chicken broth and put it all in the crock pot, cook for 8 hours on low then divvy up into 4oz portions and freeze. I do mine on a salad, he makes a sandwhich,…
  • With enough cheese and butter, anything can taste great ;-)
  • 7/21 1. Stay in my calorie goal, no matter what it takes. 2. Take the puppy for at least a 1.5 mile walk 3. Drink at least 3 water bottles full of water/ice tea with sweetener instead of sugar
  • You know there's an app for that right? xD It sounds kinda awesome, it's a program that trains you to run like the couch to 5k but it has audio about where zombies are chasing you and where supplies are and such, my friend loved it and can run a 10k now
  • Wonder how many more calories butterfly burns. I was the top fly swimmer way back when...now I'm lucky to do 100-200 fly lol
  • I loved all the different dumpling places that you could just get something from while walking around China Town, it was amazing. I can't wait to go back to San Fran
  • Same! Really high quality rootbeer or cream soda was always a special treat at our house or when we went to brewery when I was a kid
  • My hubby is from Oz and he says rootbeer tastes like medicine xD
  • This! Except the spam part =-p You have to try clam chowder in a sour dough bread bowl. Really almost any of the fresh sea food is amazing. And in San Fran, there is a restaurant on the pier called Scoma's. It's pricey but absolutely amazing. Also try the Irish Coffee and the breakfast in general from the Buena Vista Cafe,…
  • It's always so sad when there's the grain pieces left and no marshmallows!
  • We have costco boxes of it in the pantry, my husband loves it! I'll have it for breakfast sometimes on weekends, gotta love them marshmellows!
  • I love cholula! We recently made buffalo chicken with like 9lbs of chicken, a bottle and a half of cholula and ranch dressing powder, it's amazing with more hot sauce and blue cheese on top
  • Oh, I can call to schedule an appointment but he won't do phone consults, he's 'too busy'. Each appointment costs me $126, plus like $80 if he needs to do any blood work and then another appointment fee to go over bloodwork results. I'm trying to find another doctor but most seem to be the same cost
  • I've noticed low carb actually does the opposite for me, if I don't have some kind of carb (Oatmeal, 21 grain bread usually) in the AM and one in the evening my blood sugar seems to tank faster
  • I love love Adagio. Harney and Sons has some really good teas too, especially around the holidays
  • My favorite is apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, honey, mustard and grape seed oil, its so yum on chicken and berry salads. Also, you can make creamy style dressings with greek yogurt. I have a Ceasar that is greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, anchovies paste, salt and olive oil blended together. Ranch I make with milk and…
  • I love black tea (all different varieties) with just a splash of milk, but it doesn't do much if I'm craving coffee. Not as much caffeine and sometimes I just like the taste of coffee with steamed milk or creamer. Maybe try replacing half your coffee with tea?

  • I have the charge HR and I think it motivates me, I like the pop-up reminders saying there's only x amount of steps left. Yesterday I only have 1200 steps to go so I ran up and down the stairs while my bath filled, it worked! Getting the notification when you reach your step goal is awesome
  • Yes!!! So much yes! I miss those so much
  • Correct, the processor can read whenever the blood travels through the vein and blocks the light from the LED for a minute. Not as accurate as a chest strap but it's not bad. My fitbit HR was only about 10 BPM off my chest strap reading when I was biking last week
  • I don't think it does, from the way I understand them, they are essentially wireless EKG which measure the electrical impulses the heart gives off when it beats
  • Yup! I carry food and will order at least a small salad or appetizer right away when we go out to eat. Thank you for the input
  • I agree with the poster above who says it kinda balances out, I'm the same, I get wicked cravings before my period but during, I have zero appetite, but still some cravings, usually sweets or salt. If I want something sweet, I air pop popcorn, melt Hershey's milk chocolate or nutella spread and peanut butter together and…
