I use Julia’s base recipe for all of my quiches - just made one yesterday for Mother’s Day (with shallots, ham, and asparagus). They are perfect! I do use her recipe for pie crust as well (because I like making pie crust - I do roll them out into the pie plate and freeze them ahead of time).

I make what my sweetie calls “fancy toast” - 1 slice of homemade sourdough spread with Dijon mustard, with about 2oz. of diced ham, covered with I slice sharp cheddar cheese, then halved grape tomatoes, toasted. It depends. I don’t use a lot of mayo so I only use the full-fat kind (and I’m a Duke’s fan). Sandwiches I do like mustard or hummus or laughing cow (and I’d forgotten about those, so thanks! Now I want a breakfast sandwich). Now, once tomatoes are in, tomato sandwiches (on homemade sourdough) REQUIRE good mayo.

Today was my first Total Body Circuit. My first thought was, "Oh, this isn't so bad." My next thought was, "I think it's going to be that bad." My following thought was, "@#*$@!!#%!" I did get through it, though. Dang! Y'all weren't kidding!

Hi there! I'm 5'5 and 160, so I want to lose 30 pounds. Alright, I really want to lose 35 but I know I am getting unhealthy at that point. I started working in desserts at a local restaurant and have just been watching myself grow...and grow...and grow! I'd love some friends here!
