I probably should be eating a little heathier but I am sticking to counting calories, 1,600 per day and I have been satisfied.

I tried slimming world and it did not work for me because I would eat too much of what was allowed. Plus much of it didn't make sense. It is supposed to be low energy dense foods yet soups are not free. Pasta is free but oatmeal is not. What's up with that?

The 5:2 diet will probably work but can you stick with it? Maybe the 8 hour diet plus counting calories might be a better choice. Of course my advice isn't the best as I have not been too successful at weight loss but I'm still trying!

If weight watchers found the perfect formula for losing weight they would still have to continue to change it to make money. And they also have to keep it complicated so you think you cannot do it on your own.

It appears I started a topic with strong opinions! My original thought was when I looked at how many calories I should be eating it came to around 2000 calories. I had read that 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat was a highly rated ratio, same as the zone and crossfit. I know I generally eat too little fat and certainly…

I picked 200 because I was thinking 2000 calories per day, 40% of that equals 800 calories or 200 grams and I know carbs are my problem
