WOW! Well done your hard work shows! So motivating!
-
Definitely Yoga with Adrienne! Lovely to get started and she has two 30 day series that I know of. Otherwise www.doyouyoga.com and www.doyogawithme.com also have links to a few youtube videos and their sites are very good for all levels.

Im also back after a while awol! :) feel free to add me.

I personally stuck to the light drinks, eg light beer, have some yummy beer out here that gives you all of the buzz and none of the bloat. BUT I still need to either eat less to get those calories in or move more to burn it off.

Okay so update, its been about 5 months now since I posted this, and I have been continuing with yoga almost everydamnday. Just as an update I still get the pinch in the hips type of pain, now not so much in the hip openers but in other poses, like lifting to headstands.. :| I have spoken to my teacher and she also just…

Such an inspiration. Poor guy, yay he found yoga!

This I noticed a huge decrease in my cravings/hunger once I started hitting higher protein goals.
-
If you are using MFP protein setting they are notoriously low.. Dont sweat it. If you under your calories you are good. I feel if Im over on protein thats never a bad thing..

I havent weighed myself in 7 months now 1. What has my gravitational force on the earth got to do with anything 2. I dont climb on the scale cause the scale dont measure sexy Lol in all seriousness I would rather track my loss with measurements and pictures. Way more accurate and less damaging to my heart than that damn…

So? if it fits and you dont want to eat it dont eat it... Point of it is that if you eat your calorie allowance you can either lose or gain or maintain regardless of what it is... Live and let live. Do what works for you. Stop worrying about other people.
-
I gave up weighing months ago

You cant help people. I unfriend them. Gone down the route of trying to help and give advise too many times to see its pointless.
-
Good on you girl! But yeah the comment "pretty for a big girl" would have put me off too!
-
Exercise more then you can... 100% agree with original topic
-
My best tips: Slow and steady wins the race. You dont have to starve yourself Find an exercise you enjoy Log accurately, measure and weigh everything The scale is not an accurate measurement of weight loss, try a tape measure Good luck
-
Haha so THATS what is it  Yeah plenty of those too. One day at a time, slow and steady wins the race
-
Thank you  Appreciate the advise.
-
Sorry just to clarify you did not create this challenge...Its Yoga with Adriene
-
I havent climbed on the scale in 6 months now, so liberating! What does my gravitational force on the earth got to do with anything...

Pigeon is sooo good, so far from getting completely in the pose, but seeing a lot of progress is great. I like abductor stretches, and supine hip opener where you cross eg right leg and place on knee and one hand between the legs and the other on the outside grasp and stretch. But so many to chose from

Thanks Yoginimary, sorry yes should have been more specific lol. Its inside the groin area, quite a small area, I am not 100% sure but it feels almost like its the joint where the thigh bone connects (damn I need some anatomy classes lol) Its not like a muscle/foot cramp/charlie horse ( i had to google that), more of a…

To gain muscle you will need to eat in a calorie surplus, it wont happen over night. To lose weight calorie deficit..

I was actually doing my own practice with only a few classes and dvds thrown in before starting 30 days of yoga with Adriene. But decided to stick the challenge out to get deeper :) I usually write out the poses I want to do. Start off with a few sun salutations to warm up and then take a pose one by one. I have The Yoga…

Haha Ive also only got 2 blocks and 2 mats.. one is old and starting to tear, and the newer mat is just too damn slippery. Facepalm. Plan on splurging on a new one. But I would love an extra length mat, Im 6ft2 and I hate it when my feet come off my mat when transitioning from cobra to downdog. Yoga pants, psh, those are…
