Only benefit from most weight loss supps is appetite suppression. Something which sugar free jelly or a lb of cauliflower could do a lot cheaper :-)

Don't plan in cheat meals , unless your really lean they don't help. Simply eat within your calorie target and when its Christmas/Birthday/Family nights out let loose for a meal. Don't worry about it or call it a cheat just go back to business as usual afterwards.

I picked up Brain over binge on my kindle and found it really interesting.

Eggs n bacon, a pot of cottage cheese + tobasco, a butterfinger, a pot of low fat greek yoghurt and strawberries.

Sugar free jelly is like 27 cals for a pint of jelly! Low calorie yoghurts are good too. For meals I use bean sprouts and bags of stir fry veg which are good and low calorie, and sauerkraut pads meals out...... absolute best bang for buck is protein fluff which can bloat you out for a couple hundred calories. ......

I wait as long as I can before having breakfast, at least til 11. As when I eat soon after waking I get really hungry ( something to do with insulin spiking apparently!)

I bought some out of date quest bars before as they were a lot cheaper. They were 3 months out by the time I finished and seemed fine to me.

Making fluff now! 115g of frozen fruit, 19g of chocolate whey and 55g of hazelnut milk. Trying to resist adding cereal on top :-p

1,400 calories seem low! Double check that first. If you cut now it will give you a good base to start a nice lean bulking phase. I am a fellow heavy lifter and did a slow cut from Feb to August and am back bulking again. Supplement wise nothing will make much of a difference but omega 3 and a multi vitamin cant hurt.

They do crunch, if you ever have crispy seaweed from the Chinese takeaway its exactly that. I do about 15 mins or until the kale feels crisp when checked.

Loving the nostalgic game playing in this thread. Just finished bulletstorm and have dead island ready next.

I train fasted in the a.m and take a pot of cottage cheese (just add tobasco) 35g of oats (stir in 2 eggs and a splash of water then microwave) and a lunchbox of veg and chicken/steak/etc. That lasts me until tea time and is about 800 calories!

Leafy green veg always does the trick for me.

Whatever you fancy. I like jelly, cottage cheese, kale crisps, chocolate, fruit! Stuff like protein fluff or cool whip can fill you up well too.

I'm on 3,000 at the moment. I tend to eat random things split between home made abd shop bought at the moment.

I tend to use in desserts more e.g. protein Cheesecake or fluff but there are savoury recipes too. Just seems a waste adding protein to a meal with protein in already (like eggs)
