Welcome!

Everyone is different except for one thing: motivation. Everyone needs it. A goal is often not enough and requires a reason. If the reason is important enough to you, it helps with staying focused. Good luck!

I think anyone who doesn't acknowledge this as a goal isn't being completely honest with themselves.

I don't belong here. I just took a wrong turn! Yeah, that's it. I'm not 51. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Hello from across the pond because that's the only way Americans know how to introduce themselves to Europeans!
-
Welcome! What kind of exercising do you do?
-
I'm not familiar with that, but good luck and welcome!

Welcome and good luck!

I can't say I was looking for any particular one. I was mostly interested in whether there was a benefit be it weight control, fat burning, or better workouts. That I had not heard. That's very interesting. Thank you for the information!

I try not to. I'm not a premium user, so MFP won't let me ignore them, but I try not stick to my calorie goals for the day.

I log here and I've been on a low-to-moderate carb intake since December 2019. It has been the main driving force behind my success. I remember those days. I listened to the Bucs blow a 28 point lead in the 4th quarter while at work once.

Actually, I eat pretty much the same way. My body just likes exercise because it's a stupid jerk that refused to run on only Doritos. Pelotons are awesome. Expensive, but the best investment in my health I've ever made.

I have the Active 2 which has the ECG but doesn't have the other features yet. I've read there will have be an update this year, though, and I'm excited. It's such a good fitness tracker.

I've been here a whole, too, and never really delved into the forums. I'm looking forward to being a little more active.

I learned that I can't stop working out. As soon as I do, I start putting weight back on. I don't particularly enjoy it, but once it becomes habit and part of my routine I usually stay on top of it.

50(mumble) year-old here!
-
Moi. All workout apps and our Peloton.
-
I lost 40 pounds and gained a lot of it back. We can absolutely do this again!

Welcome and good luck!

Hello! Same with me. Used this app off and on for years, but pretty much avoided the forums. Trying something different this time.

Many of the things you've mentioned seem to go hand in hand. Nothing is a cure all, but this is a good way to start. You can do this

Thank you both for responding. I can say that I religiously track what I do and eat. I weigh and measure everything I eat. I double check that everything I enter already has the correct information. I have considered that perhaps everything I use is underestimating how much I'm burning each day, but a self-proclaimed…

Apparently it is no longer an approved device.

WARNING: CHEMISTRY LESSON Kind of, but not exactly. The Law of Conversion of Mass dictates mass is neither created nor destroyed during a chemical reaction. In laymen's terms, that means nothing in the universe ever disappears; it simply changes into something else. For example, ice melts into water which evaporates and…

I was referring to Stark traditionally being on the slight side, but RDJ awesomeness makes up for a lot. We wouldn't get anything done, though, because he'd say "screw it" a lot as we go have shawarma.

Is he using it or having sex with it?

A Frost Troll kicking my *kitten* in Skyrim.

Those abs. Are you freakin' Photoshopped?
-
Likes to smile.

Not the way things go.
