@LiveOnceBeHappy My wife got mine so I could track my Peloton rides, but it's come in most handy since I started running. We just moved to Colorado, so I can't wait to take it out hiking in the mountains.

@luxia2020 I got mine as a Christmas present last year. I haven't really stopped wearing it since. I love it.
-
Hello and welcome! Good luck! You can do this.

@Nicoles0305 I'm finding that (except on rare occasions) I was eating breakfast because I was "supposed to" and not because I was genuinely hungry. Missing breakfast doesn't bother me usually (this morning was a little rougher than usual, though).

@jenkindo I don't see myself doing OMAD either. When I was a teenager I ended up in the ER a few times because of blood sugar crashes. I'm not taking the chance of that coming back just to get a few extra hours of fasting. I'm good with an 8-10 hour eating window.

My mini goal is to get back to running. I miss it and if I did it right now I'd probably collapse.

50(mumble) year old father of one. Been using MFP for about a year now. Always looking for support and motivation, and offer it in return.

Hello and welcome! You've come to the right place for support. I recommend posting on one of the looking for friends posts so you can get some support right on your feed.

@Drea702 Mornings are my toughest time of day as well because I love my morning tea with homemade creamer. It was a great fit when I was doing keto, but not so much on IF. It's calorie dense enough to wreck my fast. I've started holding off until 11:00 before I have any which leaves me at 14-15 fasting hours. Have you…

@angelexperiment How well have you done on it?

Welcome!

I only just started (literally on Friday) and I've already lost 2 pounds. Shocked the crap out of me.
-
That's awesome! I'm not sure I could do OMAD, but sometimes I'm just not too hungry and end up eating once. If it happens, great, but I'm happy so far with the results.

That's awesome! My limit seems to be 16, but it's usually more around 14. I started on Friday and I'm already down 2 pounds. I've been drinking a lot of water, so I don't think it's water weight. Either way, I'm impressed.

How did that go? I can't go that long without eating because I get shaky.

Hi there. A little to the party, but just moved here in September. Anyone have any hiking recommendations?
-
Planned out my day by noon and recommitting to IF to see if I can stick with it this time. (I know this is an old post. Can't hurt to breathe some life into it.)

Hello! Future friends on motivation buddies are always welcome!

Welcome back. I think you can take solace in knowing you're not the only person needing to lose some pandemic pounds.

Hello Jess. Not a NZer or a soldier. In fact, I'm American, so I'm want to pronounce kg as a word and will say lbs. like everyone knows how much that is. You've accomplished so much and the fact you did it with no help including while becoming a single mom speaks to your courage and your strength.

I've changed my focus from pure weight loss to just being more active and healthy. I started running again last week with the goal of running a 5k this summer. Feel free to add me.

It's for 3rd graders, so I spend most of my time telling her to stop being lazy.

Welcome! You've come to the right place. The people are friendly and supportive.

It's very likely it's the working out. Working out burns fat and reduced inches, but also builds muscle which weighs more than fat. Sometimes it can look like you're staying the same weight, but youve lost fat and gained muscle. Diets are more than just the scale. Eventually, your body will catch up and you'll see the…

Yup! The ]o-yo sucks. I hate losing the same 20 lbs over and over again. That's why I decided to come back on.
