You were a ten back then, but your eyes are brighter and bigger with the loss, they're twinkly. :)

My work uniform is looser. Yay!

I don't know if you have them where you live but I found some "dessert" yogurts. They're 35 calories each and pretty good. Obvy not as good as a huge piece of cheesecake but I just ate 2 for a total of 70 calories and feel my sweet tooth satisfied.

Oatmeal never lasts long and I'm hungry within an hour. I need a good amount of protein in the morning so for something easy and quick I'll have a couple boiled eggs and yougurt or cheese stick. Sometimes I'll have a protein bar. Remember breakfast doesn't have to be about "breakfast foods". If there are left over turkey…

and as for big housecats, the largest I've seen was an orange guy weighing in at 29lbs. So indeed that would make 11lbs a medium cat in comparison LOL I wish I had pictures. He was majestic.

I definitely am a crazy cat lady. So much so I work in veterinary medicine so I can have an excuse ;) Yay for almost at your goal of three cat weight loss!
-
Haha. Love this. I've lost the equivalent of a large cat! Makes me purr with happiness.

My go to meal prep that's easy is spiced ground turkey, which I'll serve on top of lettuce, tomato ( avocado, any veg really) and a couple tablespoons of mango salsa. All i'm really prepping is the turkey. In the morning I just throw a handful of bagged lettuce into a container, add the turkey and salsa. Done. Or if you…

Apples! Simple and they actually satisfy my sweet tooth.

Not everyone is as smart or savvy as you. Have a good evening!

Maybe people are looking for a connection? Maybe they're lonely. Maybe they need support. Maybe they're drunk. Maybe they've been bullied and are so frustrated with their weight they are looking for help and have no idea where to start. Enter MFP forums where they can further get online bullied. Unhelpful posts appear…

Have a look at the thread entitled : "Help with Toning exercises" First post is pretty much what is being discussed here. Its a generalized CICO post with the again repeated "You can't spot reduce" all of which isn't even an answer to the OP's original question! Its not helping anyone.

Yes. Agreed.

Fitness Blender has some videos as well that might be of interest to you. They're free, just google it!

Its not the message I disagree with, its the delivery. Often times many people are asking for help and its just a blunt delivery of the same message with no insight or advice on how to achieve it. I've seen people post "educate yourself", well I'm fairly certain most people who are asking questions are trying to do just…

Drinking water helped me. Trying to refocus my thoughts to something else. I also find when I exercise i'm not as hungry or craving things. Boredom is a HUGE factor in my craving as well.

Good post. I see it all the time certain posters become parrots and even though their message isn't directed at ME, it bugs the stink out of me to see the same patronizing "Eat at a caloric deficit, you'll lose weight" message. Everyones journey is different.

I wonder about your nutrition. Maybe 6 X 250 calorie meals isn't what works for you. Try switching things up while keeping within your calorie daily allowance. A larger breakfast, medium sized lunch and small dinner.? Small breakfast, large lunch, small dinner and snacks? I do well eating most of my calories during the…

Beautiful!

Another idea is to count your heart rate, or get a monitor to make sure you're staying in a safe range. Take it slow. Don't give up!

Make her laugh. Often. :)

I avoid dinners I can't track. I wish I could help but really I want tips too!

I second getting rid of all trigger foods. This might mean having an honest talk with whomever you live with and getting their support. I often walk down the chip aisle just to read the caloric/ portion size and tell myself I can actually treat myself to only 23 chips. Then I laugh because who am I kidding. Those chips…

Don't know about the superfood. To me, anything labeled superfood I tend to see as a waste of money/ trend. Thanks for the BBQ chicken tip!

I did it for a week and found it was too high impact for me. Feet and knees hurt and I was getting discouraged so I went and did some Fitness Blender videos and my own jogging program.
-
Hey! To me it sounds sort of boring. I like the idea of eating whatever I want as long as it fits in my calorie goals. But if you decide to do it let me know how it goes!

I see a lot of e-books offered on Instagram which are essentially what you are describing. Some are free, some are not. I think the market may be hard to break through.

1 pound a week is great! Its hard to sustain much more weight loss per week than that. keep going!

Also can you tell me about the book in your picture? LOL Looks like something I might want to read!

I think everyone finds motivation from different sources. Chances are that the feeling might drop off, but you need to catch it before its completely gone. I suffer from anxiety too, and I know I feel great when I eat right and exercise and see the scale drop. Then I'll get a headache, or have a bad day and I feel like…
