  • @Izzybella22 keep going. I’m having a bizarre experience with my keto this time round. Normally I can’t get myself into keto within 2 days but this time I’m struggling . I won’t let it bug me as much as I think I’m still dropping. Big weigh on Wednesday for soo we’ll see.

  • @asugar1390 100% with you, I believe it’s called cyclical keto so giving yourself one carb up day maybe can help in the long run as long as you don’t over do it. I tested myself after my 5 Guys burger and still in keto but will try again in the morning.

  • @amandaatwork i don’t track them at all but I can say that I probably am in a calorie deficit as during keto I don’t really get hungry at all. Today I decided to test the boundaries of carbs and eat a 5 guys burger. Will test to see in i’m still in Keto, stay tuned lol

  • @baconslave hello mate. According to my test strips I’m still in keto, god only knows how 🤷🏽‍♂️ lol. I know there’s an accuracy issue with these things but I’ll take it. I read somewhere that if you been in keto for while one meal may not kick you out.
  • I agreed with @baconslave. Try stick to 30 grams of carbs. What works for me is adding exercise. With both I can get into ketosis in 2 days. I don’t believe In starving yourself. My go to when feeling hungry is protein shake and protein bar. Combined carbs off about 20g once you minus the fibre

  • @westrich20940 being from the UK vitamin D is a bit of a premium but it’s mad how much sunshine can change your mood. I only took up running during covid as a way cope with the loss of brother through covid and the first ever lockdown. I hated every moment but always felt better after.

  • Your right but what I meant by calorie deficit way is by eating everything but less. Weirdly I don’t have the discipline even tho keto is a lot harder, go figure. I think I find keto produces better results and why I stick with it.
  • With you on that I think because I get good results I keep at it.
  • I can promise you I eat the batter and found it kept me in ketosis. You’d be surprised how low carbs is in fried chicken
