  • I really like mine. Set up was super easy, and it really helps remind me to move more since I have a desk job. I tried in the beginning to get the data to transfer to MFP, but failed in my first attempt so I just gave up lol. But I am honestly not sure how accurate the calories burned are, because I average over 3,000…
  • 138 medium tops size 10 - dress/pants Seems like I will never get to single digit pants. Curse you wide hips and thunder thighs!
  • I tried Keto when I had quite a bit of weight to lose. For me, it was a terrible experience. I know it has worked for a lot of people, but I found that my body couldn't handle it. Even when I was in ketosis I was more tired than usual and couldn't even do a 30 minute workout. I never felt that magical Keto energy or "fog…
  • I have a very similar story as you! I lost about 40lbs in a little over a year. It took me a lot of exercising along with logging my foods to achieve. Then I got a new, less active job, quit going to the gym, and had a major surgery that kind of put a wrench in my healthy goals. The great thing is, since I was use to…
  • When I started myfitnesspal vs me now. I went from borderline obese to a healthy weight. It took me over a year, but it was worth the hard work! The hardest part is going weeks without feeling or seeing a difference in the scale, but powering through and keeping up with your goals will give you a new found strength!…
  • Ugh, story of my life!! Make short term goals that are easy for you and opt to make your own chocolate bark or something that is fewer calories Go 6 days without going over your calorie limit, have a portioned sweet treat. Work out for 15 minutes everyday for a week, go out to see a movie. Goals and rewards were helpful to…
  • I have only been doing IF for about a month. The main reason I started IF was to help keep within my calorie deficit due to the change in my diet to the keto lifestyle. When I ate throughout the day, I struggled to stay within my calorie limit, but once I narrowed the eating window, it became much easier! I do the 16:8 IF…
  • I have always been an estimator. I have a scale, and I used it a few times just to get an estimate on meat portions, but since then, I haven't touched it (unless a baking recipe requires it). I just don't have the time to weigh everything when I'm cooking, because I enjoy spontaneity. It always annoys me when people…
  • Entering my meals into MFP ahead of time is the only way I can make sure I am getting enough nutrients on keto. Maybe after more experience I won't have to, but this is a very good suggestion for beginners! Also, I felt like I was the only one who detested avocados! It's the texture, they're just so terrible...haha
  • I've had this conversation with some of my friends since I have had similar thoughts at times. For me, seeing myself in the mirror everyday, I couldn't see the change taking place and felt discouraged. It's true that "before and after" pictures can be helpful, but I have some "before and after" pics that, to me, seem like…
  • Hey, I need the same thing! It's a never ending journey. Add me if you'd like:)
  • Two years of healthy habits and still going!
  • I struggle a lot with sweets around the holidays so I have a bunch of low calorie low carb recipes that I make for substitutions. Also, Thanksgiving and Christmas day never get logged due to my overwhelming love of mashed potatoes and dumplings lol. I usually try and do some extra cardio prior to a big holiday feast.
  • Oh me! That's me! 15 by Christmas is my exact goal! Feel free to add me.
  • This is my second week of keto, and I would love to have some keto buddies for support as well!
  • Weight loss is so very hard when you don't have any one on the journey with you. When I started eating healthier and trying to lose weight, it felt like everywhere I looked, people were eating snacks and sugary junk food, and I wanted to give up. It takes so much will power and dedication to power through. I'm still…
