  • Therapy is a pretty private thing. I think the therapy they show on the show is staged, and real services are provided privately. Just my opinion though.
  • I know- I'm watching it right now, LOL!!! It's what made me think of this thread. I really hope he's lost the 40 pounds!!!! GO CHAY!!!!
  • I like season one best, because everything was over the span of several years. Melissa's story (season one episode one + two) is by FAR my favorite. Now the stuff that happens in their life seems more forced/staged (divorces, marriages etc.) because it's cut down to only the span of one year.
  • I suggest you talk to a doctor about your concerns. They will guide you to the right direction.
  • Stevia and lemon juice!!!
  • Depends on time and how much you want to invest. A lot of stuff you can read in free ebooks and online, but if you learn better by having someone show you, set up a time with a trainer
  • Sworkit app (free)
  • Dannon light and fit greek yogurt. 80 cal and some fruit.
  • Oh I was easily at 3,000 calories a day. Pastas. I would eat a full plate of pasta from Olive Garden (which is around 1,000 calories and then have like three of their breadsticks and the salad) And that was lunch. That's like- my entire day now. Pshhh. I may or may not have eaten an entire hot and ready over the span of…

  • This week I made it to 9.3. Which totals to 27.2 miles this month
  • Yes, I definitely do not want to lose muscle. But, I'm just trying to get a better understanding. Knowledge is power (*)
  • @rainbowbow‌ Thank you. This is something I will have to continue to research. I was contemplating increasing my calories for a few weeks because I wanted to get stronger, but saw no weight loss and since I'm overweight I went back to doing 1200. I will wait until I am at a weight to maintain to do that. So basically, from…
  • Oh my Gosh!!!! I love this thread!!!! Following!
  • This whole thread has been completely unclear to me. I'm going to have to talk with a trainer I know. I've been in a deficit for months and been losing weight. I've also been doing cardio and weight lifting. I know I've gained muscle because I can actually flex and my brother can't squash my arm down. That and I am hella…
  • I finished in The beginning of February. I have run my first two 5ks outside this week (I was progressing on to the 10k inside as it was still too cold) and tomorrow I will have my third :) The apps are awesome. I used the one by clear sky or blue sky or something like that. I loved it. But as far as tips ^^^ see above-…
  • There are all kinds of greek yogurts out there. Probably the best is chobani. But Dannon light and fit is only 80 cal and has 12 grams of protein. Plain greek yogurt usually is about 120 cal and 20g of protein for an entire cup!!!! I will as a banana to that and BOOM a breakfast under 250 cal. It's very rare if I don't…
  • I'll try it! I'm down to try anything (almost)!!! Did those articles say anything about using a sauna after?
  • Oh my... These sound amazing.
  • Greek yogurt greek yogurt greek yogurt. My brother was doing protein powders until I showed him plain greek yogurt. Also, tuna (Sub yellow mustard for May and you get a 0 calorie condiment) and Turkey meat. I like Cajun deli turkey meat. Very flavorful and low cal.
  • Best time of day to go to the gym is 11:00a-2:00p and 7:00p-9p pending on your gym hours. (Mine is 5a-9p) Source: I watch that *kitten* like a hawk. Worse comes worse I go cardio it up outdoors.
  • I noticed at a 10lb difference. When I went from being obese to overweight is when other people started to notice. At 20lbs weight loss I FEEL entirely different. I notice it's easier to move when I work out. I notice it when I I put on my jeans. Also, I don't have to roll over onto my stomach anymore to get out of bed. I…
  • Oh my gosh I love this thread. This is all such great advice and I'm relating to so much.
  • I completed C25k at the end of January. I live in the northern Midwest and I did not take a step outside (ok, I did twice I think in February on nice days). Other than those two, I ran on a treadmill and I actually preferred it. I have a problem with pacing myself. I start out too fast and burn out quickly, which causes me…
  • This may seem weird, but change the way your shoelaces are tied. I changed mine to the one where the laces were on the sides and I loved it. My feet were just a little to chubby for my shoes and this didn't cut the circulation off on the top of my foot. See here:…
  • Up to 17.8 miles. Goal is 25 miles!!! Whoo hoo!!! I'm almost there!!!!
  • Yaaaaaaassss... Clothes... But it's more like a... You are not allowed to buy these until you do this. (Otherwise I would spend too much -huh, guess I have another binging/overdoing habit I'm trying to regain control of- and my bank account appreciates it). Otherwise I just set goal like rewards. For instance like signing…
  • Being real? I'm not going to start having children until I'm close/after 30. I will be devastated if I get to that point and because I haven't taken care of my body my doctor says to me I am not able to. I don't want to have regrets.
