You are underweight ... your posts reveal either body dismorphia or a continued disordered behaviors ... get the help you obviously need.0

I really think you should be talking to a therapist. You say you're recovered but your posts strongly indicate otherwise.0

Stop looking at YouTube and marketing models. You look fine.0

It is not for ANYONE, ESPECIALLY strangers on the internet to judge how 'drastic' your stomach is, or make a comment on your 'thinness.'
You note you are a recovered anorexic - I would strongly suggest considering discussions about negative views of your body should continue/remain in this forum, rather than on an online one. I note you use the term 'horrified' early on, which makes me concerned.
We cannot, and should not, make comment on how different your body is to what it is before. You are 23, your body is and will continue to change as you grow and age. That is ok, that is life. Don't benchmark yourself against the past- focus on loving your body, its potential, and what it can do for you. Focus on what it could be in the future, in the most positive ways you can.
Good luck x

My only comment would be to work on your Anterior Pelvic Tilt.
F#$% the trainer who said that to you. It's their job to go up and get new clients to people they often see in the gym. I doubt very seriously he was being personal. He more than likely wanted to neg you into thinking you need his services.
Focus on your health (mental and physical), happiness, and the rest will work itself out. If you're coming from a disordered past, the last thing you need to do is start restricting again.0 -
Stand up straight , your bending awkwardly in the pics so its making your stomach stick outward.
You are thin and look fine , besides your posture. Work on your posture0 -
Def work on you posture! If you fix that it will help 1. how your stomach looks and 2. with back problems later in life.0

I know during my first few months of recovery, I was constantly bloated. My stomach looks -generally- flatter now, but not always. I think part of it is just how I'm built really. But that may not be the case for you.
Like others have said, incorporating weight lifting is probably a good idea to consider. It made me feel better about myself and I toned up a bit.
You are not overweight, though you may feel that you are/think you look like you are, but please believe us.
Good luck in all that you do0 -
OMG. Talk to your therapist as soon as possible.0

Lift heavy weights.
And again, talk to your therapist.0 -
I suggest you talk to a doctor about your concerns. They will guide you to the right direction.0

Uh-oh. Did NOT see this, how did I miss it? OP...none of us here can or should help you. Please see your therapist and have a talk with him/her.

if you want to look like those you tube fitness models, I would suggest a heavy lifting program and eating a lot more food….0

Hi OP:
Short version:
To me you sound like a person with an ED who has been triggered into the verge of a relapse. Your MFP goal to lose 8lbs is also a red flag.
Please go see a specialist. If your specialist is not available because you've moved, you urgently need to find someone who can help you continue your treatment!
Longer version:
The a$$h0!3 piece of $h!t "trainer" makes his money by selling private sessions.
The vast majority of females at his gym are probably there to lose weight.
What's the easiest way to get a girl to cough up some dough?
"Yo, honey, you look like you've gained some weight. Can I help?"
Calculated to push the insecurity buttons of people trying (and often failing) to lose weight!
If you, as a recovering ED person, are in that gym with no intention of losing weight, how exactly does this a$$h0l3's sales pitch apply to you or affect you?
For whatever it's worth: You are not fat. You do not have a stomach. You do not have fat on your stomach. You are thin. In your pictures you look as if you're pushing your non-existent stomach out. You sure as hell do not look like you have an extra 8lbs available to lose.
I will not comment on the women whose picture you showed other than to say that their body fat percentage is well below what would be appropriate for fit women. And they are sucking in their stomachs and have exhaled to remove the air from their bodies too. You didn't.
You are currently in the middle of a major panic attack over your non existent stomach. If that is not a relapse of your ED thoughts triggered by the comment of that idiotic trainer, I don't know what would be!
And yes, I see nothing wrong with politely explaining to the gym's manager that you are a person recovering from ED and that he should inform the staff that your goals do not include losing weight.
In case you haven't realized this yet: you are not yet 100% recovered!
Please go see a specialist.0
