  • Hi Malak, Welcome, great to see you on the thread. I'd like to suggest reviewing your goal weight as losing 9.5kg (~21 pounds) in 23 days may be a bit ambitious and potentially unsafe. I don't want to be negative about your goals however what has worked well for me is a slower approach to weight loss as I have found it…
  • I agree with MarkItZero there is always continual learning of nutrition and I believe the most important thing is how different nutrition affects you because everyone will respond differently. For me personally I respond well to a diet higher protein and fat and I typically don't eat unless I'm hungry or I know I'll be…

  • Nice matra, keep strong.
  • Don't get discouraged staying under your calories and working out is a great accomplishment in itself. Remember you could be gaining muscle at the same time which wont reflect on the scale. Perhaps also measure your waist once and week as you may see progress there, this keeps me motivated.
  • Great work on the losses! Focus on that for motivation, keep it up.
  • Excellent work Bob! Needing to buy smaller clothes is a great achievement.
  • Keep your head up. Great idea to focus on daily goals, don't worry your long term goals will grow from there.
  • Great work on the self control! I find it the hardest part.
  • beejelblor - Don't get disheartened with what seems to me negative responses. Clean eating is unique for everyone to how their body responds to certain foods. I applaud you for having the realization that thought should be had into what we eat regardless of the decision made. Some people like myself just need a set of…
  • I like the taste of the tea but I don't think it affects any of my weight loss. Eating naturally and moving more helps me most.
  • I agree that it may take some getting use to eating smaller proportions mentally. But as some other people have mentioned eating more fats really helped me with making me feel satiated after a meal. Things like adding avocado to a meal, eating fattier proteins such as salmon and having tuna with olive oil instead of brine…
