Confidence. Can't wait to get some more of that.

You should be able to buy them at most liquor stores- they're pre-mixed drinks with lighter-calorie tequila and mixers. IIRC they're less than 100 calories per serving.

Can you drink a lower-calorie drink? I've been having Skinny Girl margaritas, or plain vodka and flavored seltzer/zero calorie flavored drinks. 660 calories for 4 drinks seems like a LOT.

It's funny but...I definitely feel fit, but I feel fat as well. Does that even make sense? I know I can run, bike, and swim for hours. I know I can lift heavy things. I know when I try out a new exercise regimen, or when I do an unexpected new class (if mine is full at the gym, I'll pop into something else) and while I…

It's really hard!!! I have the exact same issue. I look in the mirror and will my body to get to the size I want it to, and it's super frustrating to keep up the daily grind and see slow (but steady) results. The only thing I can do to help myself is think of the size I started and think about how I'm already lighter than…

I have been making myself 'earn' my junk food! I don't keep snakcs or sweets at home, and when I want something I have to go out and get it. There's a trader joes 3 miles from my apartment that's my "go-to" snack place and I've promised myself if I can walk or run there, I can have a treat! maybe if you do something like…

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Yes! Well, caloric goals Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Left my apartment early to walk a mile to a farther-away train station What would I have done differently? Run one more mile in my evening run, have one less glass of…

I'm 5'8", and I'm 20 lbs down (14 since I started tracking here) - people *just* started to notice! I feel completely different though~ I guess at least wtih coworkers that you see every day, it's hard to tell when the change is a little tiny bit every day. Plus if you're taller, like me, it might take quite a bit of…

I'm in! Goal: 25 miles per week for 100 total. Week one- 29 miles.

I um...I don't actually take days off (unless I'm sick)...but I mix up workouts so my muscle groups get a chance to recover! I'm either swimming, biking, running, hitting the gym for a class, going to zumba, etc etc.
-
I always consume more on weekends too (especially in the summer!!) ...so I just work out more to cancel it out. And I track literally everything.

I'm going to go to a fitness class at lunch, and then run 3 miles after work!
-
5/15: 1. Go to the gym at lunch, run 3 miles after work 2. Have salad for lunch 3. Try not to let carb-loading for tomorrow's race get too crazy
-
1 cup of dry cereal for breakfast! I'm waiting for my coworker to get back with our lunch salads and so hungry right now...

Today I just did a 40 min HIIT class at the gym. I'm planning on walking the 2 miles to the pool after work and doing a 1.5 hour swim practice with a masters team. So it'll probably be nearly 3 hours of exercise today! Big Tuesday for me :)
-
Today I will: 1. Go to the gym at lunch 2. Go to swim practice after work 3. Have salad for lunch 4. Finish the day under my calorie goal (to make up for Sun and Mon, where I went over)
-
Wowwww clicking around and everyone is amazing! I could use some inspiration, add me!
-
I want more active friends too! Only two of my real-life friends are on MFP but I love being able to support and get inspiration from people
-
Today: 1. Go to Zumba on my lunch break 2. Go to swim practice after work 3. Don't eat the free pizza at the office for lunch :)
-
Yeah I've noticed that MFP gives realllly generous calorie burn amounts for exercise. I know this isnt' my post but I'll take that advice too :)
-
Walking is absolutely exercise. And while sure, you'll burn *more* calories if you walk briskly and add hills, even if you don't you're still burning calories. It's certainly better than sitting on your bum :) Plus you never know- you could get inspired by the people around you and start to run! That's how it happened for…

Maybe you could buy some dumbbells and keep them at home? Sure it isn't 'LIFT HEAVY!' but it's a step above body weight exercises

I tend to buy my professional dresses at Banana Republic and my suits/jackets at Express, which are professional and young without being inappropriate. What are you having trouble with? What kind of dresscode does your workplace have?
