Enjoy yourself. I usually eat at maintenance on weekends because we tend to eat out. I'm still noticing around a 1 lb loss for week. I guess it helps that I don't expect drastic results so I'm not worried if my weekend maintenance is slowing me down a little.

I noticed most of my biggest changes around 6 weeks and 8-10 lbs lost. I take comparison pictures though and that has really helped me see the changes. Most people are just starting to ask if I'm losing weight.

Drop a pant size is what I'm pushing for right now. My clothes were super tight so I'm just now kind of fitting into them properly. I can get the size below on and buttoned but they are uncomfortably tight so those are my goal.

Yep. Cut down on your portions and choose better foods is how I've been doing it. I do generally track my calories in here but they are always estimates. I don't measure and I tend to just find the closest match to what I'm eating in the food bank choices. So far I've lost 10 lbs in about 6 weeks. Good luck. My best advice…

I'm looking to lose about 60 total. Have already lost 10 so only 50 more to go.
-
My weight scale is broken, I need to wait until I buy a new one.
-
I just log Friday's. The rest of the week is just for curiosity and I track it in a different app.

I do this too. Not as big of a problem at home when I have smaller portions but it is a problem at restaurants when they give you so much food!

I workout with the kids. They enjoy it and I'm modeling good habits. It can sometimes be annoying because they get under foot. Or I get on the treadmill when my husband is home so he keeps an eye on them. Some days there just isn't time and I don't beat myself up about that.

Do you take progress pictures. You may not notice small changes happening over time but a side by side might show some results.
-
Don't worry about what others have to say. They don't know what's best for you.
-
Goal is about 60 lbs. Motivation is feeling good about myself and having more energy. Also providing a better example for my kids.
-
Some days 0, some days over, some days 300. Depends on what I ate and whether I worked out.
-
I'm only 5'7" but figure I'll answer too. I'm currently 195 lbs, size 14. Goal is around 135/140 and hoping for a size 4.
-
Pefect. Didn't even think of that. I've never used the "my foods" took.

I'm 26 yo mom of 2 girls. They are 6 and 3. Looking to lose about 60 lbs. I started at 205, currently 195.

This is so me. I don't weigh out everything because who has time for that plus I want to model a healthy relationship with food to my girls. I don't think weighing everything I put in my mouth is a way to do that.
-
Go for a walk, go shopping (hard on the wallet though) , sip water, read a book
-
im not a new mom but I do have kids that are 6 and 3. Feel free to add me as well as anyone else that would like to.
-
Congrats on starting at the gym. Good luck on your journey
-
Good luck. We all have to start somewhere
-
You can add me if you would like. So can anyone else.
-
Haha! I can commiserate with you about that! Anything I gained is disappearing with weight loss.
-
Great loss. I think it's possible but it might become more challenging to lose as you get closer to your goal weight
-
I like looser fitting cotton pants and t shirts or tank tops. I'm a simple gal. ;) I have the opposite of a big chest so I can't help you out on that one. I even occasionally work out bra less
-
Welcome! I KNOW you can do this. Be careful about limiting yourself too much. I find when I cut everything out at once I will go crazy and binge later on.
-
I don't think you need to but I've found it extremely helpful in helping me lose weight. I've been on and off the bandwagon so many times but I think the real difference this time is the amount of water I'm drinking. I feel full longer and I'm not snacking as much on crap. I believe it's helped curb a lot of my cravings…

I get most of my stuff at wal Mart. Tres chic lol
-
I'm pretty active and accept anyone as long as they aren't rude or harrassing.

I'm sorry. Just remember weight loss is not linear and many different things effect that number on the scale. Many people become bloated around their period so don't be too hard on yourself.
