I think I'll probably not try to catch up, but it is tempting! It was hard to keep up last year when there were like 200 new posts a day.

Haha! True. It's not the worst binge but it was supposed to be my big re-entry to self-controlled eating. I've been eating bags of chips and cartons of ice cream this past month so it really was a scaled back day... small steps.

@KetoneKaren that's brilliant! I love it.

Confession: my food addiction is back in full swing after having my baby. I managed to keep my weight gain moderate while pregnant but I already gained back 5lbs of my initial post-baby loss. Boo. Today was my first day back to logging and I realized I was thinking "I'm bored, I should eat". Ugh. I did pretty good until…

I love it. I stepped away from mfp because my dad was having health problems and then I was trying to get pregnant. I just had my baby a month ago and I'm back on mfp. I'm excited this thread is still going because it was a big motivator for me to check in every day last time around. Some crazy part of me wants to try and…

Oh my gosh. This thread is still going! Epic! I haven't swung by since April last year. I'm proud of you guys.
-
Me too... I think it's because my food=feeling better association is so strong.

Welcome back to the thread! Your peanut butter confession from a few months ago is very popular. How do you feel about seltzer water? The lemon flavor fulfills my desire for something bubbly.

I wish my husband wanted to work out with me. He doesn't go to the gym unless I make a really big deal or of it. I just wind up going during the day by myself, which I don't mind from a workout point of view, but then he doesn't go at all.

At the risk of sounding terrible, I was slightly put out that my in-laws didn't really acknowledge that I was celebrating Mother's Day, too. We went to their house for lunch, got my mil a big box of chocolates, and nada for me. My mil has kind of set a precedent of making a big deal out of stuff, so it was weird to not…

My grandma died suddenly when I was 9, and then most of her belongings and papers were lost in a house fire before they were divided up. It's still difficult to think about.

Lol.

I haaaaaate that movie.

I'm a little behind, so someone else probably beat me to this... But they probably don't even notice.

We've had relatively mild summers the last few years... I love Chicago summers :)
-
I had hot dog flavored chips before, in Kenya. They were... Interesting...
-
I actually like hot weather :) summer in Chicago never lasts long enough. I spent most of last August in Alabama, and that gave me a new respect for southerners. I almost passed out trying to get in my vehicle.
-
That made my mouth water.

If I wasn't lazy, I'd post a *that escalated quickly* gif.

I didn't, but I think you can. Just wear good shoes if you go hiking! The heat is pretty intense. I'd make sure you have a good floppy hat to keep the sun of your head, and decent sunglasses.

Ah yes! Try to go star gazing, catch a few sunrises... Growing up close to a big city, it was mind blowing to actually see how many more stars are visible in the southwest.
-
Grand Canyon, if you can swing it.

I've never been in Canada (I live near Chicago)... We were supposed to go to Niagara Falls this month, but canceled it due to family issues. I was mostly excited because I've interacted with so many Canadians on this thread!

I can't watch it... Sheldon reminds me too much of an old friend that I had a falling out with. I just get irrationally angry whenever I see even a commercial of BBT. Being regularly put down and condescended to for that many years apparently left me with some trauma.

Salt and vinegar chips are my Oreos.

What?! Indoors? Nasty!

On the topic of bugs... I'm not exceptionally squeamish about bugs, but centipedes freak me the heck out. Many years ago, I was taking a shower at my parent's house (centipede central), and I thought there was a centipede on my leg. I thrashed around and fell out of the shower through the curtain. Turns out, it was just a…

I'm sorry you are going through this.

Hey, I hope this confession thread has absolved you of your guilt :)

An ex-boyfriend of mine worked at a K-mart when the Xbox 360 came out. The stock boys would put the system in a 24 pack Pepsi box and have a buddy ring them up... Pretty slick scheme until they got caught :p
