Add me!! I use kg, lets see if I can work this out in lbs? So far I’ve lost 164 lbs and 115 to go until my goal. I weigh everything and track everything. I log 10,000 steps on work days (very sedentary job) and 20,000 on the weekend. I really want to up my exercise from brisk walks to runs. Best of luck on your journey. 😀

I have some chicken in a garlic, ginger & soy marinade which I’ll cook with beans and carrot. 😀

High protein, low carb. Are you counting total carbs or net carbs?

I like to have a freezer full of single serve meals. Today I’m cooking a turkey chili (no beans), beef and broccoli in a soy, ginger and honey sauce and chicken with cashew in a Chinese style sauce. These will be lunch and dinner for the next couple of weeks. A few hard boiled eggs and I have some single serve but/seeds…

I’d love to live where it snows. I’m very jealous! I’ve just weighed in for the week and I lost 1 kg, I think that’s just over 2.2 lbs. I’m pretty happy with that as I didn’t exercise as much as I wanted due to the heat. On wards and upwards... Enjoy your weekend. 😀

I weigh in today, I’m procrastinating and haven’t weighed in yet this morning as Im nervous about the outcome. Today I’m planning on going for a walk on…

I felt the way when I did my first gym class. I am very over weight, I have terrible anxiety and was quiet intimidated by the whole thing. For my first class I got there a few minutes early and got a position in a back corner. Everyone was lovely and welcoming. Within a couple of weeks the regulars were having a chat to…

I don’t have scientific evidence - but I definitely feel fooler if I have water with my meal. Have you tried iced tea? It’s summer here and I brew green tea or herbal tea and put into into water bottles into the fridge, I find that easier to drink then plain water. Good luck with your journey!

Welcome! I love this app. I’d suggest you weigh everything and don’t set your calorie target to low. Good luck!

Today I had a job interview. Totally blew the interview, no way I’m getting the job. BUT I hadn’t worn my suit for a while and it is now way too big. For the win!

I’m 42 yrs old. Non smoker. I’ ve lost 73 kg so far. I started at 196 and currently 122. This has taken about 16 months so far. I lost my weight through monitoring calories and walking 10,000 - 15,000 steps a day. I’ve avoided weights due to major back surgery about 9 years ago. I’ve only started to notice lose skin in the…

I’m also from AU, as the above poster said most threads are from the US or UK. I’d love to talk to others from this hemisphere. 😀 I’m 42 and my weight loss tourney is a long one. My first goal for this year is to lose 15 kg by 13 April when I fly to NZ. (3 kg down , 12 kg to go!) I can’t wait to see NZ it looks amazing,…

I completed over 10,000 each day, it’s Summer here and I even completed the steps on the really hot days over 40 degrees. Previously I would have just said it’s too hot, I’m not doing it today. 😀

My BMI was 67 when I first saw my weight loss surgeon. I had the sleeve in August 2017 and So far I have lost 72 kg (158 lbs). Best of luck with your surgery, and keep us updated with your progress 😀
-
I totally agree that it is very important to changes your habits. This was drilled into my team from day 1. I’m 18 months out from surgery and still believe getting my sleeve was the best decision of my life.
-
So true. 18 months post surgery and I still cant get it right. At home I measure my food but if I’m out I often put way too much on my plate as I forget how little I can eat.

The first few weeks post op are the hardest. You sound like you’re doing well. Great job 👍
