Sprained ankles are the worst! Dang potholes! But good for you keeping up with working out anyway!8 -

I wasn't running but was walking in the dark down a steep lane and caught my foot in a pothole too! Really bad sprain but, like you have kept up logging my food. I have found the lack of meaningful exercise really hard (have also been doing as much strength training as possible) - not going for hikes etc is bad for my head! Nearly healed now - hope you are soon recovered too.11 -
Had a v annoying incident at work yesterday which really riled me up. My first instinct was to binge (as ever), but instead I stuck to my meal plan, had a healthy delicious dinner and went to the gym
This probably seems like common sense to most people, but after four months of pretty much non-stop binging this is huge to me!

In a moment of weakness earlier this week, I bought some Oreos. I brought them to work so they won't be a temptation when I'm at home, and have tracked of how many I consume so I can account for them and stay under goal!26

I have two this week. I had a candy jar on my desk full of miniature chocolates that kept looking at me everyday, so much temptation. I emptied the jar on the break room table for others, if they feel they might want one. The second, I got up every morning this week at 3:30 to run on the treadmill. I ran 16 minutes each morning, but an accomplishment none the less. With the warm up and cool down I tracked 20 minutes each day.27

It's King Cake season now in Louisiana. Some sadistic co-worker brought one in this morning that is actually a huge ring doughnut stuffed with cream cheese. Not even tempted- possibly because I just can't wrap my mind around what it's supposed to be, but I'm just not curious enough/willing to give up the calories to find out.19

I was fatigued and inexpicably hungry yesterday. All I wanted was to crawl into a cup of coffee and wolf down something salty, tasty, and high calorie. While I did have snacks, and even indulged in an after dinner slice of cake I still managed to stay under my net calorie goal for the day!33

Breathing through my nose while sleeping.31

My waist circumference is finally under 80 cm, the recommended by the WHO for women.30

My knees don't hurt anymore when I use the stairs. That is from losing 15 pounds.32

I went to a restaurant and sat in a normal booth.
I used to always request a table because I knew it would be a tight squeeze in a booth.
I even had extra room between my gut and the table.
I celebrated by NOT having biscuits and gravy.
Last week my doctor told me I can cut my diabetes medication in half.
That's what I'm working for.
To get off as many medications as I can.61 -
I have a pair of pants that are starting to fit a little large on me so I dug the one belt I own out of the back of my closet. Last time I tried to use this belt it didn’t fit at all but I thought maybe I’d be able to squeeze it on now. Well, not only did it fit but I had to use the fourth or fifth little hole to make it tight enough!35

This is my first time posting here - I love this thread the most I think!
My first NSV is after 2+ weeks of hitting my water goal of ~100oz a day (except for 2 sick days), plus sweating in my workouts and in the sauna, my skin is noticeably amazing and glowing to me when I look in the mirror. I don’t remember feeling this good about my skin maybe ever.32 -
I had a white chocolate bar with nuts last night. I had been saving it since Xmas. The victory- I gave a row to my son
rather than eating the whole thing.27 -
I completed over 10,000 each day, it’s Summer here and I even completed the steps on the really hot days over 40 degrees. Previously I would have just said it’s too hot, I’m not doing it today. 😀30

I'm going to a wedding today so I put on my suit, which I haven't worn in over a year, and the pants were way too big around the waist.29
-
I ran a mile today without stopping and it was 3 minutes faster than my mile a couple months ago! (Which I couldn't even run all the way through!)35
-
Went to Florida over Christmas. Pulled out shorts to try on before I packed them. Had a hard time finding three pairs that were small enough! As it turned out, they were really too big too and I had to be careful when putting my hands in my pockets!29

Bit of an embarrassing one, but here goes. Never liked baths because my stomach always stuck out above the water, I always wondered what was so relaxing about my excess fat literally staring me in the face. Went to take a bath the other night in a long while and my stomach was well under the water line!!! Sweet, sweet victory! I think I like baths now, I’m gonna need to buy some bath bombs56

one day three and a half yrs ago my car broke down, and i had to walk the half mile to where i worked- i weighed 32.5st at the time and i had to stop 6 times to get my breath, --- fast forward to now i weigh 19st and haven't driven my car for 3 months as i have been walking everywhere i need to go, i walk at least 25miles a week now, to work, to the gym and most importantly taking my grandkids for walks.......if you are having to loose a lot of weight it seems daunting, but stick with it because it is soooooo worth while.70

Congratulations! The power of getting moving always amazes me! I know weightloss is mostly down to eating appropriate amounts but simply moving is so good for health and mental well being. You are an inspiration sir!11 -
Went out with friends last night, first time in a while and I've been eating really well so I was a little worried I'd be thrown off. BUT my fiance and I split an app of 3 sliders and some tots, I did have two drinks but I'm ok with that. We had a little more food later but it's a huge victory for me that I didn't just order and eat a huge, unhealthy meal and I'm very proud of myself! Making healthier habits is hard but seems to be working!33

MissCreepyLovestruck wrote: »For the first time in 12+ years someone ELSE took my picture and I didn’t feel my throat tighten with anxiety. My husband snapped a picture of me trying on what I consider a “NORMAL” size north face jacket. When he showed it to me, I almost cried because for the first time since I was in high school I didn’t feel DISGUSTING. Not to say that I like what I see, but it didn’t make my heart hurt like usual. I know I still have such a long way to go, but as of today I wear an XL in Northface!!! 💕💕💕
Love this. This made me tear up 💜32 -
Jogged 3 minutes... twice. Didn't die. The last 30 seconds was kinda brutal though, lol.49

You all are so inspiring. I have about 30 pages left of reading the entire thread, but had to jump ahead to add my own.
Today is DAY 300 of 10,000 steps a day straight!!!
And did 65 minutes of snowshoeing today.56 -

This thread makes me really happy. T demonstrates the power of focusing on the positive.
Today I tried in on hand me downs from my fit 20-something niece (I’m 50). It felt good to try in small sizes that fit!24 -
Today I had a job interview. Totally blew the interview, no way I’m getting the job. BUT I hadn’t worn my suit for a while and it is now way too big. For the win!46
