  • Just start small don't try to do too much at once. It sounds like you are going to make all changes at once and that can be hard to do. Try one change at a time and it will be something you can stick with for a lifetime
  • Start 73.15 currently 36.58 still in progress
  • There is a few things you can do, you can always start slow and build up to more as you gain strength/endurance Walking and running are a great way to start especially since it's nicer outside now and you wouldn't need a membership right away. You could start just by making it a habit to be active. If you run make sure you…
  • I like to hide vegetables in soups and chilies. Start small by trying one new fruit and veggie each week and find something you enjoy.
  • Hi!! I want to be your friend if you would like, your story reminds me of myself when I started. Please add me if you are able to, for some reason it won't let me. Weight fluctuates a lot, I know gaining one pound seems traumatic but big picture is that it goes up and down a lot. Keep consistent and you will get results.…
  • Try the skinnytaste website http://www.skinnytaste.com Tons of recipes on it. I like the buffalo chicken chilli, balsamic chicken, and chicken lentil soup
  • On days I eat out I try to exercise more and eat a little lighter earlier in the day. I eat out once a week and Ive consistantly been losing weight for 1.5 years . Before I receive the meal I log it to see how much it will be and that helps me determine if I should eat the whole thing or just part of it. Try to listen to…
  • I found I could fit workouts in if I did meal prep and cooked the week before and had freezer meals ready. Not having to cook frees up lots of time
  • I was the same way as you, I felt like it was an addiction to fast food. Now I can drive past fast food places and have no desire to eat at them(1.5 years after starting to eat healthier). But it took 6 months for the cravings to go away .Most likely there is a lot of little changes you can make that will help you be…
  • Take another look at your logging.Analyze it to make sure you aren't overlooking something. I did that before and found I was using an incorrect value for some food
  • I agree with the poster above about tracking. Also, weight loss involves a lot of problem solving and trial and error for coming up with solutions. Here are some solutions I've found that work for me: 1-don't keep any food in the house you can binge on. If you need something go out and buy a single serving size 2- don't…
  • Try to make your goal to consistently log your food, regardless of if you are too much or not. It took me a couple months myself to become consistent with it. Start there then you could work on the rest.
  • Maybe you can't stick with it because of your plan on how you will accomplish healthy changes. You might be trying to change too much at once. You need to make slow changes to your diet and habits, that will be sustainable for the long term. For example what small changes can you make right now. They could be as simple as…
  • Today was the first really cold day here so I had to put on a winter coat. I was happy to find out I am able to fit into my size 18 coat from high school! Before I started losing weight I wore a size 4x coat (around size 28).
  • I had these really amazing dream about eating a cookie and it was great because I woke up feeling like I'd really eaten it but without the calories. One of my favorite dreams lol.
  • I started around that weight like you did and I started with daily walking, I didn't have weights though. Just start gradual, and try to be consistent. You can always increase distance and change to other exercises as you lose weight
  • What are you doing that isn't sustainable? I know it sounds odd but if you are losing motivation what can you do to more easily follow a healthy lifestyle? Also, write down a list of everything you remember about being at that higher weight. I have a list I look at every once in a while that reminds me of how life was…

  • What can you do differently this time compared to last time? Try to find changes you can make that will be sustainable and will last for a lifetime. Make small changes at first, and it will be easier.
  • I found time by prepping my meals on the weekend. Not having to make meals each night opened up the time I needed to workout
  • I went from eating fast food every day to not eating out at all. It felt like an addiction honestly. It took me 6 months to quit completely. My strategy was I moved closer to work so I didn't go past any fast food places. It was really hard to quit it though and I had to cut back and after 6 months all cravings for fast…
  • Try a podiatrist if u can't find a solution? I
  • I haven't had it but I know at least four people that have and it has been a great tool for them and they are keeping it off long term. I can be your friend on this journey feel free to add me
  • I'll be your buddy:) start with little changes. Creating new habits doesn't happen overnight. Start small like trying to eat out less , less fast food or maybe less Pop for example. Friend request sent
  • Make small changed don't try to do it all at once. I started out by walking my dog and gradually increased the distance. A year from that I now workout 3-4 times a week in a gym and enjoy it. You just have to find something small you can do and work your way up to it sometimes. And keep it positive and enjoyable and…
  • Hi Kay I have 200+ pounds to lose and I've been on the journey for a year so far. • I used to have that issue too. For me I found getting more protein at each meal plus reducing the sugars and eating more whole wheat seemed to help reduce my appetite.
  • I used phentramine for 7-8 months. My experience was that it worked initially but I started to feel hungry again after a few months. We kept upping the dosage but it always quit working as effectively to suppress my hunger after a couple months. I quit it once I realized it wasn't working to control my hunger. I learned to…
