  • I agree with the above comments but some people say hula hooping can work the muscles around your waist or certain Kettlebell exercises :)
  • I use them and have had weight loss but I also eat at a calorie defecit and do other exercises.   • I Hula-hoop whilst watching the TV. I can do it without stopping for 60mins and then I stop but it's usually because i'm bored rather than because I'm tired... A good work-out once it get's too easy is to try hula-hooping in the opposite direction!! It feels weird!

  • i've kinda got the same problem - my body fat percentage seems to go crazy. One day it will be 30% body fat and 30% muscle, the next day it will be 31% BF and 31%M and then it will go crazy like 38%BF and 20%M the very next day! Going on that basis, I don't think that they are that accurate - does anyone else know?

  • It usually reccommends that I change my goals at every 10lbs lost... I have done it 3 times now but because it still have another 30lbs to go it keeps my calories the same (1200). Maybe you could try it for a week or so and see how it fits with your weight loss progress?

  • AWESOMEE! :) I got all my 'skinny' clothes down from the attic! I fit into nearly all of them after them being up there for over 2 years :) It's such a good feeling to do a happy dance in the mirror and actually feel good in what you wear again!!
  • this always happens to me. I've increased my exercise and food intake has stayed the same yet I've put on 1lbs in 'weight' each day for two days. I don't worry about it as my general progress goes up and down but always further down than it was. It's just the way the body works sometimes :)
  • you need to be able to recognise if it's actual physical hunger or boredom/emotional hunger. If it's the first then you would need to eat something - listen to your body but make appropriate low calorie choices for snacks, have your dinner a bit earlier to stop excessive snacking etc. if it's boredom or you just want to…

  • Hey! I have been using this on and off for 3 years. But this is the longest (56ish day streak)!! I started at 12st 10 And technically obese. I am now 11st 3 - still over weight but getting there! Healthy(ish) eating and exercise! Add me :smile:
