You are losing weight. Are those calories within your calorie goal? Maybe spread those throughout the day if they are, if you are thinking that nightime snacking is bad.

Yeah I had always thought I had shin splints too. However it turned out to be something different that ended up with surgery and I have been better ever since. The muscle on the outside was always tender. Go see your doctor. Do the physical therapy, stretching, etc.

Warm up, stretch, drink water. More than likely you over did it. Some soreness is okay when you are first starting, however if you can't move.....

Really hard to tell not seeing your dairy. Are you eating to much or to little? Do you weigh your food? Weight loss is not linear, maybe your expectations are not realistic.

Exercise is great to aid in weight loss. Calories in vs calories out is the most important. As far as your question is concerned, do workouts that will keep you motivated and that you like to do. Much easier to do something you like.

LOL, the warm sun and feeling great will always get you. If you want to increase your mileage, increase your long day by 10% each week. That way the next time you are feeling spry, you can do those 14 with no sweat.

Not everyone drinks water during a workout. I don't typically drink any water during a hour workout every morning. See what works for you. I have no issues but my routine is tailored to me.

Reduce the amount of the weight? Work up to the 30 lb weights. Try 15 lbs each side, if they feel comfortable and you dont get the work you want from them, move up.
