If you marinade it, it makes a great fajita with sauteed peppers and onions etc. It's the only meat we use at home. I also like to make vegetable soup (addition of carbs like rice or noodles if you're so inclined) and throw the venison burger in with some beef bouillon. It also works well for stuffed peppers etc. I just…

Hey Lori! Sadly, I think I just heard a lone hawk cry overhead... 6'1, 199 lbs :)
-
I'm trying to drop about 40, although I'd settle for 30 and more muscle :) Feel free to add me, although my diet is pretty boring in the summer as I'm on the road constantly (hello hummus and yogurt :-/)
-
Feel free to add me- I eat 1,200 on my non-exercise days, and about half back of my exercise calories if I exercise that day :)

I just recently noticed it as when I flex my legs it doesn't get as hard as it used to and I feel like I have to poke it to coax it along, ha. I measure above my knees for physical therapy records and it's significantly smaller than my other leg (just in time for summer and shorts), but my hamstrings are noticeably…

Feel free to add me- I have about forty to lose but am a slow go-er due to multiple knee and shoulder surgeries. My diary is open :)

Congrats!! You have a great little waist under your chest, I wish my body had more of one haha Keep up the good work!
-
That's great! I'm 6'1 194 currently and I feel like I look far larger than your first pic. You look fabulous in both!! I'm also open for more tall friends if anyone wants to add me :)

Possibly a tattoo when I get there, but clothes along the way!

I'm 6'1 and currently sitting at 194, I haven't seen the scale move in 3 weeks which is slightly disheartening, but I've been slacking on exercise as well, so it's my fault. I've lost 25 pounds but have yet to move down at pant size, and I expect by the time I hit my goal weight (55 below my starting) I'll only have moved…

I actually grew up about an hour from Glacier and currently live 3 hours away. THIS. Such a good route! I have done that section and it's unbelievably stunning. The huckleberries are the best, although technically you're not supposed to pick them ;) You've probably already started looking, but hike734.com and…

Feel free to add me as well, I have 30 to go. I've started watching what I drink a lot more and that has helped a ton. Drinking lots of water and making sure I have snacks with me at all times as its hard to eat low calorie at stores and restaurants.
-
You can add me :) I have 30 lbs more till my goal and I plan to hit it in August as well!

For me, water has been huge. My weight loss is noticeably more drastic when I'm super hydrated. As well, it helps me feel awake. I start every morning trying to drink a tall glass, before breakfast or coffee time. As well, I drink several pots of tea a day and always have the refillable bottles around. I make sure to drink…

Just use a bivy to sleep under. As long as there is a tree to tie the one end to and a few rocks around, you'll be fine. Also...I would suggest bringing something to cook with. If you don't want to bring a full stove, at least bring an esbit or something- Foodwise, if you can cook, you can bring lighter stuff. Otherwise, 5…

If you're in the UK/EUR.... get thyself to Iceland!! In all reality, you have a number of great places to go wander in the hills, but for some stunning scenery without the loads of people you oft run into in places like the Dolomites (I mean, still worth it of course) I would highly recommend Iceland. As for gear.... I've…

Calorie counting and making sure I get my protein in everyday so I can feel energized for gym time :) Down 14 lbs so far! Also- If I feel like a sweet I have it, just in a small quantity. Drinking lots of tea helps me feel fuller and helps me to not be bloated as well.

I'm 6'1 and it's fantastic to see so many tall ladies on here! Feel free to add me, as can anyone else. Started at 219, CW is 206, GW around 165 hopefully :)
-
You can add me, I'm trying to lose 45 :)
-
Thanks!! I'm trying to really take it slow enough that I don't hurt so bad I have to stop. It's been a problem when attempting to get into shape too quickly before. Too much enthusiasm ends with more surgeries :-/
-
It helps so much! Not just mindlessly eating, but recognizing what you're doing instead.

I do oatmeal (1/4 c) with a cup of frozen blueberries (super cheap at Coscto if you have one), 1/2 tblspn shredded coconut, flax seed for the fats, and then I season with nutmeg and cloves, sometimes walnuts on top. I love it!

You can watch mine if you want :)

I've had 5 knee surgeries and I've found cycling and spin classes to work for me. My knees hurt if I'm riding a touring bike long distance, but they hold up well for class. Also, I've really gotten into barre classes. No impact, just 40 minutes of different types of squats and leg exercises. They give me a great workout…
-
Whoops. *cocoon :)
-
Barre classes! Ballet dancers reality :)
-
45. I'm only saddened I didn't start using MFP sooner :)
-
I eat about 1400 a day and am dropping weight quickly. I don't think I'd have energy on 1000 a day though, and I need my brain to function well for grad school/work.

I'm 6'1 and currently around 215, just started tracking and am hoping to get to a fit 170ish. Aiming for it by summer! Feel free to add me :)
