I ran 3.4km today, as well as lifted upper body weights AND I reluctantly walked the dogs for 2.2km. It was their idea not mine lol

3.5 km walk here as well as a 30 minute elliptical workout! Walk would have been longer as it was gorgeous out but I had to take my oldest son in for blood work. He has a huge cyst on his lower back...poor kid. It keep reoccurring and I can't wait for the surgeon appointment. It can't come soon enough

You might also try to use a foam roller after your workouts! If your sore it will be really painful to roll out. But if you do it once a day you will see an improvement. I have had my foam roller for about a year now and it doesn't hurt to use it anymore. Also make sure yo drink plenty of water and try some yoga stretches!

Fabulous! You should be VERY proud!

94 today! @mrron2u my diabetic nurse told me exercise can have a delayed reaction, to what extent I am not sure.

Love this! But with the fish and chips there HAS to be tartar sauce (for me at least)

I'm doing c25 right now, I am on week 5. I think your pretty inspirational for doing this and wish I could do this. I am planning on entering in the spring (by then I will be on the 10k training program). I am also a type 2 diabetic that struggles with keeping my sugars from bottoming out. But I figure if I can do this…

I was told by my doctor to suck it up. I did go down on one of my metformin without telling him lol. Didn't help much but I would talk it over with your doctor.

I had to eliminate milk and all dairy from my diet at the beginning as it seemed to trigger the episodes. After it all calmed down and the body got used to the medication I gradually introduced it back in with sucess. I am lactose intolerant so the metformin seemed to make it worse. I now have the opposite effect with…

Lol @scolaris I know how you feel although I'm not going on vacation...my middle child sneezed in my face yesterday (I felt the spray) and he's sick today....it is going to happen I know it as well. Ice your ankle and Advil and you should be good as new! Hand sanitizer is in order when you work with kids!
-
@scolaris and @brucehedtke I will look up yaktrax! I live in Canada so yes we get a ton of snow and ice. Although winter is a little late getting here (not necessarily a bad thing) thanks for the info :). Might be a good Christmas present to myself!

Awesome that the insulin is working out for you. I worked for me very well when I was pregnant as well as when type 2 was diagnosed. People always freak about the insulin but once you figure it out it's quite easy!

Nice shoes! You should see mine, there is no grip left :( I have to get new ones before winter officially hits or I will be on my *kitten*.

86 today and it's been a while. I noticed since I have been lifting free weights that my fasting blood sugar has increased slightly....weird. @leanmachine514 I hope you feel better soon....stop sympathy eating....it's not worth it :)
