  • Everyone starts somewhere! You are running more than someone sitting on the couch! Just keep trying and you will be able to run longer and faster. I use Mapmyrun to show me I am getting faster/ able to run longer. Don't worry what other people think, if you keep it up you will be passing people! Good job!
  • Could you try Vanilla unsweetened almond milk? Or cashew milk? I used to use the creamers and that is what I use now. Maybe some milk with less sugar would help?
  • I think a Garmin vivosmart (or the newer one) would be a good fit. It is waterproof/ you can swim in it. It also hooks up to a Garmin heart rate chest strap. It vibrates when you sit still too long. It also has a watch/ notifications for txt/ phone calls. It syncs to MFP if he wants too later. The app isn't great except…
  • Did you leave the bag in for a long time? If you make it too strong that can happen. You should only leave the bag in for a few minutes.

  • Well, I have the vivosmart, and it came with a plastic peice to slide over the band to make sure it doesn't come off. I saw that you can buy (on Amazon) the same thing for a vivofit. I am not sure about the closure on the vivofit, but my vivosmart has never popped open. I love seeing my heart rate data after working out!

  • If you log into Garmin connect you can edit the type of activity, but I'm not sure if it changes the calories burned since it figures that with your heart rate.
