Thanks, I went to A&E they have me anti biotics and say can't stitch incase it gets infected as it's a dog bite and I clean the dressing every 2 days. I was lucky the owner was close. I had scratches and small bites but only one deep tooth mark left that's still healing. Has anyone run with wounds ? or better to wait until…

I only spoke to the doctor over the phone so don't have all the figures but once I do will let you know - I've been googling it so atleast I now know what your talking about. I thought I was healthier

It's my diet and any recommendations if I should change my workout to something else. I sometimes feel if I'm more active I tend to eat more. Thanks for the advice I might be trying to rush the process and will try sticking to the food diary limits

I did day 1 yesterday and ache today and had to have a rest in the middle so skipped abit - but will do day 2 today once I'm back from work. Always feel better once I've done but wanted to do it first thing but bottled it

Great work - what was your results ? Was it general fitness increase or did you get the beach body ?

Just a quick update - trip was amazing - path was great - rented bike seemed better than the one I got at home. Would highly recommend it to all beginners and recreational cyclist.

Thanks guys for all your comments I feel much better about it. I am cycling in may so I will try to get out most weekends and build up the distance while continuing my normal stuff. I'm going to rent a bike so will try to take my own seat. I'm there for 8 nights but if I can do it in 4nights 5 days I can have a few days…

The most I have run is 8 miles to date and didn't use any but as its 13.2 I feel like I might. It may be part nerves and listening to others but if I am to do was thinking if I should try first to see if it agrees with me. confused.com

thanks guys for all your feedback .... like everything there's always two sides and personal preference. Main point is run, if I'm running indoors will do with slight incline, short runs will vary it and for long runs when weather is good will run outside :smiley:

Haven't run for ages most I have ever run is 10k. My plan is to run 3 times a week and increase by 1 mile each week. Tomorrow is my first run will do 2miles at a slow pace to get the body use it again.

thanks guys think I was looking for excuses not to do it ... but I have just completed the application form and will try to get a run in tomorrow. I have plenty of time but really want to do the London marathon and been putting it off but if this goes well will try for it within next couple of years :)
