Thanks again for your replies! I think building up slowly is the way to go. Today I went for a walk early in the morning and that was fine. Last fastday I did the same with my rowing, early in the morning. That worked pretty well, a bit dizzy after a while but not as much as on eveningtime. Thanks for those great advice. :)

This is so true and well said! When I started doing 5:2 some months ago, I thought it would go one way, and that was downwards (on the scale, that is). But I´ve really learned that this way of losing weight is not a linear one, it really goes a bit up and down, and we get some ups and downs (especially after the first…

Thank you so much for your replies! Yeah, I´m having both dizziness, headache and this nauseous feeling when working out on my FD. I`ll try to do what you guys say, and see if it helps. But perhaps I should stick to just walking for a while those days, and not the rowing (which is harder for me). Didn`t have a clue about…

Just as impatient as you, I guess ;) but I haven`t tried it though. I think it way hard enough with the 2 fast-days. Have a friend of mine doing 4:3, like you`re thinking of, and she loses weight way faster than I do. I`ve done 5:2 for about 8 weeks now, and have lost 11 lbs. She started same day as me, and she`s lost 16…

Hope you`re still doing ok on 5:2 :) I think the first fast was the worst. Now I`m used to it and actually like the fastdays, I get things done ;) And by eating pretty "clean" on the fastingdays and loads of proteins and veggies you keep yourself out of hunger. Good luck to you :)

Hi! Welcome!:) I`m new too, been doing 5:2 for approx 4 weeks and gradually losing weight. Good luck with your journey :) So glad we have this forum - for support, questions and friendships!

I know, it`s really hard. But my doc says that if we`re sufficiently medicated, we should be able to lose weight like the rest...And I guess that`s true, but I still find it harder, even when I know I´m on the right dose of medication... Still, I was recently undermedicated, and I couldn`t lose a bit...now, the medication…

Nah, I´m not on the end of my weightloss-journey...I have 9 more kilos to go....

Thank you so much, this was really helpful. I have now, manually, raised the calorie-level from 1400 to 1600, just to see if it will have some effect. Will report back ;) And ok, I´ll try for some weeks, and then adjust if needed. Great advice. So boring to stand still... I understand you know quite a bit about hypo,…

Thank you so much all of you. So helpful. I guess I need to up my cals a bit yes, 1400 is too little even with my hypo, I guess. What would be better - like 1700 cals a day e.g?..or not counting at all? Please advice me! Yes, I have hypo, but on medication, and I know my metabolism is slow. I do work out a little, not too…

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I know I´ve lost weight, I`m just sooo impatient ;) I didn`t know it was ok to count on the other days as well...Phew, that`s a relief. Thanks. But if I should be around my maintenance level, which is 1900 cal, I`m eating way to little....I`m eating approx 1400 daily....I guess I need to eat…
