  • I can really relate to your frustration in the clothing Dept.! I HATE shopping for myself. I'm stuck between a sz 12 being too tight & a sz 14 being too loose (depending on the brand). And all the cute clothes look horrible on me....ending in tears & telling myself "I told you so." Men usually do lose weight faster then…
  • You're not alone! After 25 minutes on the Elliptical, my toes go numb & the bottom of my feet "burn" (left worse than right). The symptoms dissipate as soon as I start walking on the Treadmill! I can't understand how it could be the shoes if it only happens when I'm on the Elliptical!
  • You could check out skinnytaste.com. She has loads of recipes including vegetarian recipes. I love this site & use it a lot, but I'm not a vegetarian!
  • I like skinnytaste.com. She has a great recipe for No Bean Turkey & Sweet Potato Chili. I've made it a couple of times now & love it. It freezes well too, so I put leftovers in individual serving size containers. That way I can pop one out of the freezer to thaw for lunch or supper.
  • tayter_tot7, the struggle is real, that's for sure! Your story hits home & every day I have to tell myself to push forward, "I (WE) CAN DO THIS!". It's really great that MFP has this Community board for those of us that need to hear that we're not alone!
  • Thank you everyone for responding! I will def keep going! Do the circuit training machines work for muscle strengthening or are free weights better?
  • I am eating 1200 cals daily, 30 mins on treadmill & 35 mins on elliptical.
  • Thank you!
  • Thank you!
  • Oh how I can relate to you! We moved & it was really hard for me to go out becuz I was in a new environment, not knowing anybody. 9 mos of sitting on my butt in our tiny apartment, eating bonbons & watching tv, only to gain more weight! I finally psyched myself out mentally to step outside of my box! I joined the local gym…
