Happy March Ladies! Time to celebrate last months successes and let go of last months challenges, forgive myself and move forward. My March goals: 1. Find the time to exercise! 2. Walk laps on the stairs at work at lunchtime if I can't get outside. 3. Eat a salad every day 4. Eliminate as much meat as possible from my diet…

So proud of myself today. A young man I work with at my new job brings in AMAZING fresh donuts from his families' local bakery every Friday and I took a look at them and every though they looked delicious decided it wasn't worth the extra calories. I'll stick with my Acai bowl. . My February goals: 1. Log everything I eat…

I do the same thing. It elminates a lot of stress during the week and keeps me from munching all evening. :) Tina In New Hampshire My February goals: 1. Log everything I eat every day 2. Exercise 4 times a week 3. Drink less coffee (with less sugar) 4. Eat a salad every day 5. Eliminate as much meat as possible from my…

Failed miserably today. I had too many things going (work, haircut, taking my daughter to the doctor for tests, then getting her groceries before taking her back to school) so I didn't eat at my usual times and didn't plan my meals well. I made an apple pie for DH and he brought me a piece with ice cream (he was truly…

I'm starting a new job today. Very different from my old job. It's a completely different field with much longer hours and commute. I'm not sure if this will help me stay on track or make it more difficult. I guess we'll see. :) My February goals: 1. Log everything I eat every day 2. Exercise 4 times a week 3. Drink less…

Exermom - Sugar just jumped down from the couch and landed badly. She got startled by the time in the stove going off. This isn't her first injury she fractured her hip two years ago. She is prone to lameness. Thank you for asking. I'm very impressed with the way you fit exercise into you busy day. I'm trying to do the…

Katla49 thank you for the Stevia suggestion I never thought of that, that should make a big difference. After the sugar in my coffee ( problem solved ) :) I find that most of the sugar comes from the 2-3 servings of fruit I eat per day and the 1 cup of milk I drink too. I really need to remember that even healthy food can…

Does anyone else have a problem staying near or under the recommended amount of grams if sugar each day? I'm finding after eating just my breakfast I'm already near my limit.

I'm going back to work tomorrow after being off for over a month. I've been really consistent with my work outs but with my new work schedule getting to the gym before or afterwork most days will be tough. I have only about an hour before or after work on most days and that's not enough time to get there, work out and get…

Thank you for explaining how to do this.

I was wondering how to do that as well. Thank you for asking Mary.

I have noticed the same thing regarding the water. I actually look forward to it as well. And I have noticed that I actually wake up in the morning feeling thirsty if I don't drink as much as I should. :)

It's another showy day here in New Hampshire. The roads here are not good enough to head out to the gym so showering snow will have to do as my exercise for today. It's great reading everyone's posts. It's nice to know there are others working toward the same goals of losing weight and becoming healthier. There is so much…

This is my first post and I am looking forward to reading everyone's posts and celebrating everyone's success with them. I am working on setting some goals for myself and will post those soon. I'm hoping with everyone's…
