How are you getting on OP? It's been a while...just wondering if you have seen any progress. I have found shoulders are *really* tough to build, even before you take any limitations into account. Ninerbuff's suggested isolations are a really good call for your particular physiology as they don't involve moving the elbow or…

Me too - loving your work Sidesteel!
-
Nice! Even Premium is way, way cheaper than any other weight loss plan out there.
-
I really like the paid version for the following reasons: Recording exercise without it giving me extra calories Set different calorie goals for different days Macro goals by gram Export data to csv
-
I take my protein powder to work in a little pot and mix it with a shaker bottle. No kitchen required!
-
I did it by making it a habit. I go straight from work, so when I leave my office, my car turns left to the gym instead of turning right to go home. It's just what I do now and I do it without thinking. If I went home and sat down I'd talk myself out of going and never get my sorry *kitten* out the door again!

I have wrist issues and have to modify my grip with some shoulder exercises and use wrist wraps but I've been able to get some decent shoulder definition. As previously mentioned, overhead press is a good one for developing shoulders but it's going to involve your elbows, you'll know what your own personal limitations are…

But weights are so much more fun!
-
My wrists are pretty feeble due to multiple surgeries and they're the weakest link in my pressing so I use wrist wraps which support my wrists and stop any pain.

If you can't do them, they are a great goal to aim for. Pull-ups are an awesome measure of your strength/weight ratio and anyone who can make them look easy deserves admiration. I worked up to it by doing hanging leg raises, then negatives and chin ups. My pull-ups are not pretty but I'm getting there.

Proper chest to bar chin-ups today! :)

Hi all! :) I'm 5'4" and around 146lbs (from around 170 in March 2015), looking to slowly lose another 10-15lbs, I'm in the UK and my diary is open to all. I use my Fitbit Blaze to aim for a 1750-3500 calorie deficit per week, and I enjoy strength training/kettlebell class/circuits 5x week. Feel free to add me but please…

10 to lose here too! I'd like to do it in 3 months if possible. I'm 42, married with 2 children and find that it's tricky not to get tempted when others in the household have delicious things! Feel free to add me but please send a message.

I'm 30FF and it's the Panache Ultimate Sports Bra for me - most secure and flattering sports bra I've ever owned. And I've tried a fair few!
-
That's a good question - I was going to suggest the same, as this is pretty much exactly what I do and it works for me (for reference, I have pain and limited mobility in my wrists due to abnormally short radius bones coupled with early onset OA after too many surgeries).

I've been a Fitbit fan for 3 years, started with a Flex, have had a One, and I have recently traded up for a Blaze. It's helped me with understanding how many calories I burn in a day vs how much I eat. At the moment after a year of eating at a deficit, I'm eating what I'm burning and my Fitbit really helps with keeping…

So true! The gym keep nagging to put my before/after pics on the wall but I'm not anywhere near finished yet!
-
I love this thread!! A new lady at the gym was having her group induction and told the PT I looked awesome! (this was just before I broke the cable machine doing my shoulder workout, but still... B) )

Only on the high protein/low carb version. If you're veggie you can substitute a crash test dummy.
-
Thick sliced bacon and maple syrup mainly.

Awesome response Vismal! Thx!
-
More olive oil.
-
I'm in! Thanks @hillcrestbaby!
-
On the bright side, OP probably burned a ton of calories chewing them.
-
Won't it be 13 weeks long like the previous challenges?
-
Oooh now I want to have Obama on my fitbit friends lists! Reckon he'd join my Workweek Hustle Challenge? Stupid things I do to get my steps up: Walk my dog three times a day (dog gets very confused when we walk past the house to the end of the road and back because I've only got a few more hundred steps to get to my…

It's been a long time since I read anything that made me laugh so hard that I cried! Thanks OP - awesome!

This made me smile - my dog would have been very happy with that too!
